Singularity
This first poll will be used to narrow the topic of arbitration. I don't think this will take long, hence I will only leave it open until 10:00 PM EDT, Friday, and I will open a new poll afterwards with the narrowed field. And please do not forget to record your vote below with a reply; it will not be counted otherwise.
Singularity
Voted under the second option.Others have reported to me that they don't have access to vote (I'm quite confused), but I also see that there have been other votes casted aside mine. I reiterate; please post your vote in a reply in this thread or it won't be counted otherwise there is no way to know if someone has been ballot stuffing with multiple logins. Warren Verona
I have voted. My answer should be clear by now, if not you haven't been reading.I see no need to share my vote however, I was raised that it is bad form to walk out side of the voting booth and ask 'Hey, who'd ya vote for?' I reserve the same mind set here.[[[Edit: Voted 2, and still isn't pleased he had to announce it.]]]
Singularity
Sorry, Rev, we need an explicit vote being tallied otherwise we won't know which votes to disregard in case there are extras that span categories. Without that, it's far harder to prevent ballot-stuffing with multiple logins.
David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
My character has Clone. I should have more votes.RE: Explicit Vote.I'd think emailing Sing would work if you don't want to be public. And on that subject, Sing himself hasn't posted his vote yet. Singularity
First reply is from me, Troll, and I stated that I picked option two in it as well.
z-Carver
2 - bet I surprised a few of you.
The White Rat
I don't know why I voted for 2, even though I haggled for 3. I guess I figured a compromise in my position would be best. Sorry Waki, we made a valiant attempt. Unfortunately I voted before you did and I can't change it now.
Neil Preston
I voted for option #1. I wanted to know what kind of people would be arbitrating before giving any authority to them. Barring that knowledge, I find my freedoms are safer in my own hands.
Fae Dreamweaver
Yay for option #2!
Sakurako Hino
Arbitration should be available in any interaction to the writers/players if they feel it is necessary. That is the logical answer. At least to me. YMMV.
Machina
Ye Uno. If the person I'm playing with isn't mature enough to be able to handle it without calling on an outside source, I'd prefer not to play with them. And of course, it begs the question of who gets to be the arbiters.
Cosmic Comet
I'm going with number two as well.
Good Alice
Well, looks like number 2 is the best way to go. I see it at as this..I want to do a story with the imovable object wile I am the unrestiable force. In this case I would say I move you, and they would say no you don't..Now if we want to do a story and agree to everything but that point, then well we can either not do the story, or ask for outside help.,,Machina you have a good point, but the option to have an outside source help you with the story is still there for those who want it.You may not want it, but others may want it. Singularity
Although the time limit hasn't been reached, it seems somewhat apparent that option 2 (arbitration is available but not compulsory) has an unmatchable majority.I will post the next poll here momentarily.
