Proposals for Bannonage in the week following Rainbows:

• School Vignettes:  Short, one-or-two-post deals.  Ranging from casual interaction in Chem class or Autumn inviting Jase to hang out (see below) to maybe some more tense scenes.  PM me if you have suggestions, here or on Discord.

Weekend following Rainbows / Demons (Labor Day Weekend): 

• Friday and Saturday:  Autumn and Jase go camping, clean up the campsite Autumn plans to invite the Fellowship to, hang out a bit.  Basically intended as Autumn 'returning the favour' of Jase showing her his garden.  But is the Chiefest and Greatest of Catastrophes really a good pick for hanging out with in the woods?  Alone?  At night?
• Saturday Evening: ?
• Sunday Morning:  Possibly a training vignette with Hank.  Jase will be going for his weekly beating, but I might have it happen off-camera.  Being bruised and humbled is good for Jase, considering he's generally awesome.
• Sunday Afternoon:  Might be a good time to visit the Reservation, chase down that aspect of the tasks.  Jase wants in on that, wants to talk to the Elders there about strange powers and beasts.  Demonstrations may be necessary as well, after all.
• Sunday Evening: ?
• Monday (Labor Day):  Bonding fic - 'Pleased To Meet You, Hope You Guessed My Name' or 'How Crazy Met Boobies'.  Jase has decided to get a phone, so taps his tech savvy friend to assist.  Road trip to Great Falls, wherein Sean adjusts to the change in perspective the revelations about his friend have wrought.  Frank and open discussion about psychopathy and what it means to be different ensue.  Flashbacks to the start and key points in the development of their friendship will be mulled over as Sean applies what he knows now to what he saw back then in a sort of 'Ohhh, now that makes sense' way.  Hopefully all good clean family fun, and nothing that will trigger Dave_ST.  Will also want to explore if there's a way Sean's abilities can make communications between the Fellowship secure, growing out from Jase's wish to have his phone be anonymous as possible.

 

If anyone has any ideas for fics to put in the '?' slots, or wants in on any of the other non-private ones, pls PM me.   Technically, a couple more people could come to Great Falls, and the flashbacks could take a sort of internal narrative as either Jase or Sean tell the tales.  But that's up in the air and not up to solely myself.

Autumning in the week following Rainbows:

• Off-Camera: Autumn spends a couple of afternoons at the veterinary clinic her mother runs, makes some frustrating efforts at covert self-study with her powers.
• School Vignettes:  As suggested by Bannon, short, one-or-two-post deals.  Maybe a quick check-in with Marissa (ostensibly following their sleepover), a short conversation with Devin (he did apologize for being a jerk- sort of), inviting Jason to go camping on the weekend (suggested in D&D), a quick early-morning run with Lilly and/or Clara before school (both sort of loosely discussed earlier in the game), running into Cass skateboarding (would be a fun thing to learn), asking Lona and/or Charlie about powers stuff, etc. I'm open to almost anything, so feel free to drop me a PM either here or on Discord!

This is "open" in the sense that other people and their families may have similar ideas, or be doing something related on the day, so anyone is welcome to drop in.

Future:

• Weekend following Labor Day: Camping trip! Autumn wants to try getting to know the rest of the Fellowship better, help them get to know her, and give everyone a chance to relax and have a good time in spite of all the madness. She's never tried something like this before, and she's excited to find out who the others are, outside of all the craziness that's been going on. The actual proposal for this will be separate, in order to give all the players a chance to decide if they're interested. Anyone who is interested will be assumed to be invited. Shenanigans are expected, and indeed preferred.

 

I'm leaving the ? sections in there in the event that something in one of the possible brief interactions or vignettes leads to something interesting or more in-depth, and we can plan from there.

I was planning on Cade doing some fishing, first by himself, then he'd invite the Fellowship to come along after having a really good trip.  He's fine with being told no, but it is somewhere they're basically alone, free to be themselves.  It's good to do something simple together in his mind, without having to worry about everything else going.  

For Labor Day, The Allister family will have a big cookout, and Cade would extend the invitation to any of the Fellowship who don't have plans with their family to come over for some good food.

Intermission Personal Development and RP Fics:

These are going to come in two exciting (hopefully) flavors.  The first will be GM-driven.  I will be digging into your NPCs and background and coming up with wrinkles, complications, and conflicts for each character to resolve narratively (as much as is reasonable - if someone takes a hard left turn and decides to shoot up Great Falls, we will of course resolve that as best we can with a combination of narrative and mechanics.)  Each of these will carry an XP reward, both for resolution and for character roleplaying.

The second fic variety I'm hoping to see is the player-driven ones.  These will be like the Autumn/Jase Friday & Saturday camping trip collaboration, or the Shopping Trip with Sean and Jase, or even solo fics if anyone has ideas for them: Sean has The Talk with his parents, Cassie does some plucky investigating, etc.  You can write solo or collaborate with other players, and as always if you want to bounce ideas or have NPC help from me I'm around.  XP will also be rewarded for these, based on writing and that all-important character development and entertainment value.

Time-wise, the Intermission will last until Labor Day Monday afternoon/evening, when the next planned ensemble event will take place.  You guys of course can decide that the Avengers need to assemble before that - let me know in Discord what your plans are and I'll make it work.  Feel free to discuss things back and forth in Discord or here.

Autumn in the days following Episode V:

• Off-Camera: For reasons, Autumn has to clean out the garage. (Gross.)  On Wednesday and Thursday she goes directly home after classes. Her dad calls to check in. She works a little on the treehouse (initially just cutting the wood and getting more of the walls up) once the garage is cleared and she can get find the freaking tools.
• School Vignettes:  Open to almost anything on Wednesday and Thursday; per GDB, there's no school on Friday.

• Wednesday: Intermission. Warden Crocker is penciled in for at least part of the afternoon.
• Thursday Morning: ?
• Thursday Lunchtime: The pluck beckons. The beacons are lit. Cassandra calls for aid.
• Thursday Evening: Autumn does a little digging into family history.
• Friday Afternoon - Early Saturday Evening:  Autumn and Jase go camping. After the events of "The Damsel and The Dragon," she wants to reciprocate the gift of seeing the Impenetrable One's garden with something equally personal to her.
• Saturday Night: Potential pluck levels are dangerously high- anyone in the vicinity of the Old Town Hall in Shelly is advised to seek shelter.

• Monday (Labor Day):  Family time! Autumn gets to spend the Labor Day holiday with both her parents and extended family at the Carousel, commemorating the end of summer. Down below, I'd like people to address any RP elements, Aspirations, or specific interactions they want to see happen for their character.  The purpose of this is so that players can look at one another's wishlist and help each other achieve character development goals, however minor.

[Autumn Keane]

Autumn, Week of Labor Day/Ep. VI:

• Off-Camera: Autumn will be working on the tree house, trying to get it finished before the weather turns. She will also be reviewing the journals from her grandfather’s study, and buying a few books (le gasp!)- possibly on an afternoon trip to the mall with her mom, but online if that’s not feasible. If possible, a return visit to Browning to actually go through the museum and have a long, non-plot-related talk with Joe about her grandfather will also be on the agenda.
• School and After-School Vignettes:  Open to almost anything! At some point during the week, Autumn will want to hit Cassie up for that skateboarding lesson. There’s also the potential for an awkward run-in with Ms. Forster later in the week, or during the following week- dun dun dunnn.
• Wednesday: Available during school. Journal study session with Jase after school.
• Thursday: No school. Charlie's funeral. Later: Boarding school with Cassie.
• Friday: First date with Jase?
• Saturday: Autumn will be paying a visit to the Project facility to try to help repair some of the damage done to the smilodon.

  • As discussed in Discord, a story or scene involving Cass and Autumn talking to Sean about the physiological and sociological realities of his unique, uh... "circumstance" would be awesome.

Bannon, Week of Labor Day / Ep. VI:

• Off-Camera:  Jason will be working on his physical fitness and combat skills, in addition to refining and honing his mind further.   He will also also be studying German, the next language that has taken his fancy to learn.
• School and After-School Vignettes:  Jason's mother will be seeking to speak with him, and likely Jason will want to speak with her too.  He wants to learn about his race, and she wants to make sure that her son is prepared for what is ahead of him, personally.  He will also be seeking to expand his learning about the Teulu from Ellie.  Other than that, Jason will be either in lessons, hanging out with close friends, sneaking off with his girlfriend for tonsil-hockey... etc..
• Wednesday Study Date with Autumn, going through her family journals.
• Thursday Charlie's Funeral.  Meeting with Annette and the Project re. internship
• Friday  First Date with Autumn.
• Saturday 
• Sunday  
• Generally:  He and Autumn will likely be making repeated attempts to hit that home run.  Under no circumstances will this come to pass.  Closest they'll ever get before Friday night is third base, and it will drive both of them nuts.

Devin, Week of Labor Day/Ep. VI:

• Off-Camera: I generally assume that when Devin is off-camera he is practicing with his powers like it's a religion to him. He also makes as much time to hangout with people as he possibly can so it's certainly feasible for other PCs and NPCs to talk about hanging out with Devin and just doing non-plot-related stuff. His workouts and gymnastic training is how he finds his Zen and takes his own personal time to decompress and find his center for the next day. He works out every evening between 22-00.

• School and After-School Vignettes: Devin is available for all manner of shenanigans at school. On the first day back at school, after a mild disagreement at home, Devin will be whammied by Marissa and spend an undisclosed amount of time infatuated with all the female students at Shelly High (and possibly a select few adult ladies at the STs discretion), so that'll be fun. In a continued attempt to endear himself to the students and faculty, Devin has been treating people better and looking after those students who tend to get bullied a lot. This might earn him a nerdy hanger on or unpopular kids following him around thinking they're friends now after he's stuck up for them a few times. Aside from that, Devin is available for school writing, maybe even a whisper session in study hall or, dun, dun, dun... detention (which he might have after getting whammied).

• Sunday: After the events on Sunday, Devin and Marissa will most likely do another rooftop session (they technically do one almost every night, just off-camera). After helping out Autumn he will more than likely call it a night so if there is going to be any RP with other players they will need to visit him at his house while he's doing his workout.

• Monday (Labor Day):  Family time! The Jauntsen Family will be present for the event taking place at the Carousel. This will be a great time for players and their family members to finally meet with and get to know Devin and Marissa's parents. This will be Carl's, their father, first 'on screen' appearance! It will provide some insight as to how messed up the Jauntsen family is.

• Tuesday: Back to school. Devin should be whammied by this point.

• ???: Devin will continue to frustrate the Aeon and Branch 9 people by popping in and bypassing they're security in the hopes of getting some actual training for himself and his sister so they can better protect themselves from the insanity of The Dark and the assorted goons from the Legion of Gloom.

• ???: Devin will not relent on his current wooing of Annette. She's close to breaking (he can feel it) and he will also continue to find ways to endear himself to the Cassidy's, especially since he got Laurie in trouble. Same goes for any of the other girls crushing on him (I've honestly lost count) so there might be more story opportunities there.

• ???: Mourning the death of Charlie will be a major point for Devin once the news hits. The reality will cement in his mind that none of them are safe (and certainly not immortal). This will trigger a violent shift in Devin's processes as he will want vengeance for the death of Charlie. Some, if not all, of the Fellowship might not be okay with this side of Devin as it will be a throwback to how cruel and mean he was as a bully at Shelly High. He will view Charlie's death as a failure on his part and grow ever more protective of the remaining Fellowship. He will speak at Charlie's funeral and deliver a eulogy to respect his lost friend and 'fellow warrior'.

 

[Marissa Jauntsen]

Marissa, Week of Labor Day/Ep. VI:

OH EM GEE, Superfans! I have so much to gossip about!

• Off-Camera: Homecoming! Oh, my god. You don't even know. It's right around the corner and I still have not even begun to get all the Fellowdiva's dresses, makeup and hair styles picked out for them (can't let Autumn dress herself, we all know that). It's a nightmare! Anyway, I'll need to see them all at some point to make these choices so we can just assume lots of annoying texts are sent between my time in the episodes (because people tune it for me, let's face facts, people). Thanks to these super powers, I don't have to work out as often as I used to, so I'll be with Deej maybe four nights a week, so totes hit me up if you wanna do something!

• School and After-School Vignettes: So... yeah, Deej and I get into this big ol' spat over something, totally not Jason related, trust me. In a fit of uncontrolled emotion, I kind of whammie him with my love powers, and all manner of problems erupt from there. Let's face it, he's a bit of a manwhore, so he certainly has this coming. Check out the poll on my OnlyFans and vote which of the Fellowdivas slaps him first! Most of my after-school time will probably be spent with my Cadums. Now that I've had a taste I just want to gorge myself. Which is convenient and totes works out in my favor because all guys ever want is sex and if all we're doing is having sex, we don't have to talk or get too involved with each other (hellooo less complicated!). Trust me, he is not going to mind. It's the perfect escape route for me with all the problems I have going on in my life so it'll be nice to just lose myself in the sex and the pharmacy in my moms purse than face the horrors of reality (Jason and Autumn, seriously!? Its still makes zero sense, ugh! What were the producers thinking!?).

• Sunday: Sunday is a bit of a wrap for me, honestly. After the whole Enterich thing (creeper), and my Cadums making everything all better, I'm pretty sure I'm good. I think I'll head home after the whole training thing and hope neither of my parents are around to bother me. My god, if my Mom or Dad found out I had sex, they would lose their minds! I have a few outfit ideas for the annual Carousel event going on, so I'll snap a few pics for my bae and see which he thinks I should go with. Also! Check out my OnlyFans and vote on the one you like best!

• Monday (Labor Day): This is going the worst day of the year. I can handle the holidays because were all at home, but for this I will actually be with my family, out in public (I know, right?!). My father is sobering up for it, because appearances and my mom? Well, she's going to be well into her 'social events' pills by the time we arrive and no doubt will be a complete bitch to everybody in her own 'holier than thou' way. I'm glad Deej will be there (kisses big bro!), he's my rock. Hopefully my family will bump into Cade's. Once my Cadums sees how messed up my family is, he'll break out of his funk and not feel so bad!

• Tuesday: I can't wait to get back to school! Courtney and I have so much to do to get Homecoming ready, that includes getting the lead out with the Fellowdivas and getting their heads in the diva game! (Cassie says thanks to all the Superfans who posted comments, but the whole my bro and her thing hasn't been decided so we can't talk about it! Very hush-hush around here!)

• ???: I'm not sure what side Annette is really on, but at the moment she's all I have to keep my family safe. I can't tell the others. If they all knew Jason and my brother would turn Shelly into a smoking crater looking for whomever threatened me or my parent's lives (aren't they the sweetest? Thanks guys!). I guess until the cat's out of the bag I'll have to keep working with Annette while working with Enterich (so complicated!). Hopefully I can keep subtly manipulating the playing field by directing Enterich into the Fellowship's path so they can expose him and hunt him with legitimacy without blowing my cover. To do that, I'll have to be extra shady and I don't think any of them are going to appreciate me for it once it's all said and done. My parents will be safe, so, many regrets, but no apologies! (Oh! Thanks so much Superfans for all the Marshal Marshall feedback! We haven't decided if he's ever going to call, but he's so hot, amirite? The producers are mulling it over, so we'll see!)

• ???: Wow. Charlie, huh? I can't say I saw that coming. He was so sweet and kinda goofy and all kinds of fun... I guess I should have told him that when I had the chance. Did you know I had crush on him? Yup, totally did. I only joined the school play to get to know him a little better, that's why I went to breakfast with him; to see if there was anything between us. Shame he didn't seem into me. But, hey, then, I'd be dead too! Bullet, dodged. Wait until you see the dress I picked out for his funeral, I ordered the shoes for it about twenty minutes ago and together they are to die for!

Well with Lilly's Departure, Coach Meyers is somewhat concerned, and starts to lean heavily on Cade to join the football team.   With a changing dynamic in his life, he decides to give it a shot.   He'd join, and quickly end up taking over as quarterback.  This would at least start to grow Cade's confidence as a leader, maybe help him actually become a good one.

Cade's still game to invite everyone for a fishing trip/fishfry/barbecue at the Pond,  not a training thing, but more just a relaxing get-together.  Good food, good friends, and outdoor fun.   

Cade would like to actually see the Smilodon again, both to make sure it's being treated well, and to work with it, because let's face it, he's probably the only one who's got a shot at doing so.

Cade is concerned with what he can actually do in the coming fight.  Currently his means are purely mundane, and he's worried about that being effective, so he'll want to try to push himself and up his game  "Curve the Bullet" stuff maybe..

I want Cade to actually become aware of Dramatic Editing and his ability to do it, at current he's ignorant of it.  It could come off that he's always been lucky, things go the way he wants them to more often than not, and he learns that he's actually making his own luck.

Cade still needs to actually ask Marissa to homecoming.  Probably something that will happen in the current phase of the thread.   I see Cade spending a fair amount of time with Marissa, enough that she learns he's into anime and manga.   I foresee the Bag of Horrors making an appearance, so that now they both know the dark secrets of each other.

Sean, Week of Labor Day/Ep. VI:

• Off-Camera: Working on his video, and now the follow-on support stuff now that it's released. Possibly exercising more, working out some.
• School and After-School Vignettes: 
• Wednesday:  
• Thursday: No school. Charlie's funeral.
• Friday: Meeting with EA Rep Brad Stanton after school at the Country Club

Devin, Week of Labor Day/Ep. VI:

Off-Camera: Devin will dedicate a lot of time to recovery, giving his self time for his injuries from the fight with Not-Cody to heal.  He will continue his usual workouts, but at a lighter pace as to not aggravate any of his existing injuries.

School and After-School Vignettes:

Wednesday: School.  After school he will go visit Tawny in the hospital.

Thursday: No school. Charlie's funeral.  If Cassie’s player is around and able to commit to the time, Devin and Cassie could get together later that evening.  If Cassie’s player is not available, Devin disappears right after the funeral.

Friday: Devin will be gone.

Saturday: Devin will be gone.

Devin will approach Taggart about proper training.  Devin will need more that +1 Harsh Language and Witty Quips to defeat The Dark and if the military isn't smart enough to realize that, then he'll come to accept that they are fucking retarded and seek out Cade's grandfathers in the hopes they will train him in the ways of Murder, Death, Kill.

Get the plans for Site B and begin reviewing and memorizing the lay out and working with the other specialists and officers on a plan for breaching the facility.  He will also perform distance recon to survey the site and understand it's exterior.

Marissa, Week of Labor Day/Ep. VI:

Off-Camera: Marissa will be memorizing and practicing the cheer playbook for the Homecoming game.  At school she will be behind the scenes using her special brand of rumormongering to slowly repair the reputations of Sean, Laurie and Lilly.  Her plan is elevate their status by the Homecoming game, at the minimum (and if the team wins, it might further help Lilly and Laurie.)

School and After-School Vignettes:

Wednesday: School.  Burgers after school with Jacob Lilly.

Thursday: No school. Charlie's funeral.  Nothing planned, but Marissa will take to doing her homework down in the Branch-9 facility where it’s quieter and more friendly than her home.  Mostly after hours when only the watch staff is on duty.

Friday: School.  Marissa will be searching for her brother, wondering if anyone has heard anything from him.  Homework in the Branch-9 base, where she will stay as late as she can before returning home.

Saturday: Marissa disappears.

Sunday: Marissa is gone.

TBD:

Work with both Annette and Taggart on developing a proper training regiment for herself and her brother.

Get tested to discover her capabilities and limitations regarding her abilities.

Save her post before talking to Annette about the Library of Shadows side-quest so she can reload and learn the most beneficial conclusion.

[Autumn Keane]

Autumn, Weekend following Labor Day/Ep. VI:

• Off-Camera: Autumn will be working on the tree house, trying to get it finished before the weather turns. She will also be reviewing the journals from her grandfather’s study, and working on  If possible, a return visit to Browning to actually go through the museum and have a long, non-plot-related talk with Joe about her grandfather will also be on the agenda.
• Thursday: No school. Charlie's funeral. Later: Boarding school with Cassie.
• Friday: First date with Jase? Available after school.
• Saturday: Autumn will be paying a visit to the Project facility to try to help repair some of the damage done to the smilodon and assist with the extraction of the cranial implant. Saturday night, Marissa will be coming to the Keane house to discuss current events.
• Sunday: Open.  Autumn will be working on personal projects like the completion of the tree house, and studying Chemistry and English.
• TBD: 
  • As discussed in Discord, a story or scene involving Cass and Autumn talking to Sean about the physiological and sociological realities of his unique, uh... "circumstance" would be awesome.
  • Autumn can basically, at present, flail wildly in an actual fight. Some specific efforts at improvement in this area would be advisable.
  • Following up with Sophia to see how she's doing.
  • Talk to her parents about the weird tension with them over the last year or so.
  • Chat with Nathan Crocker about his role. 
  • Talk to Mari about Homecoming, make awkward conversation.
