Decanter of Endless Water (Air, etc)

Build a gadget with Q5 and one point in Elemental Mastery. The technique doesn't really matter, since Mastery allows you to create the element at will. A decent-sized quantum pool should be included for more bizarre effecs, like turning it briefly into a Decanter of Endless Tidal Waves. ::happy One for Air could be used for trips in submarines or spaceships. One for Earth could be a Rod of Earth Wall.

Bag of Holding

Build a gadget with Spatial Manipulation. By turning everything put inside to Flatform, you can stack up a nearly infinite amount of items. Include a dot of Psychic Link, and you can turn it into a Heward's Handy Haversack! ::ultracool

Wand of Magic Missiles

Build a gadget with Homing Q-Bolt and a ridiculously large quantum pool.

Ring of Wishing

Build a gadget with one dot of Planck Scaling. ::devil

Thought these up while in the car somewhere in Montana on the way to Minnesota and thought I'd share.

So what your saying is that the device has the actual quantum pool itself? Interesting way of doing it? Could this effect apply to other devices & items. Eric quietly sneakes off to grab a copy of Doctor Strange.. ::devil

Mostly these work, although finding someone to make them might be hard... although it is a standard PC type.

Then you probably want "Shaping" since that's the one where we have rules for how much of the element is created... and if you want a drink of water you don't want to *have* to knock down walls with the 'Bolt.

Sounds like a powermax. For that you'd want the nova who's powers you are copying.

Don't run out of juice.

Or a gun, or as part of a suit (or is that suite) of armor.

To make this all you'd need is a Q9 nova to make it (gadgets are limited to Q+1) and (probably) a Q10 with the power to copy.

For examples, all they give are heat and electricity (if memory serves). But I don't see why it can't make water.

Because in the classical sense water is a form of matter, not energy. You could make heat, light, electricity, magnetism, gravity, kinetic force, fire, plasma, various EM spectra (uv, x-rays, radio, infrared, etc.), radiation (gamma rays, quantum), strong and weak nuclear forces, etc. But not wood, metal, water, air, biomass, etc. 'cause all that stuff is in the classical sense matter, and the power does only create energy according to the book.
