That's a funny one. I doubt things will get too out of hand though, with the sheer number of Novas being there. I just hope it doesn't turn into a second Ibiza-esque situation. I... tend to bruise easier compared to the other novas there.

I just want a nice vacation, would that be too much to ask?

Atlantic City. Havana. Monte Carlo. Beirut. No bugs, lots of fun and with a little luck you can take home a wad.

What never heard of Indian Casinos? Hell slip me a twenty and you can get a picture shaking hands with me.

Antlantic City; Too gaudy, and recently somewhat shady. Quite frankly I try to stay away from New York. Reminds me too much of Tokyo.
Monte Carlo; I save that locale if I wish to write a spy novel. Too european.
Beirut; That is too close to the Middle East. I don't care how things have changed, I wouldn't even venture going there without hiring some of DeVrie's best.

I don't think that a reservation on the outskirts of Rapid City or there-a-bouts would be that bad. Although I think the concept of Reservations only having Casinos would be insulting to our Griffon friend.

And Sakurako, you have been to far more places than I. I think your trip to Europa far outweighs anyplace on Earth. Although the thought of looking around that region you mentioned in Washington State sounds interesting.

Question; is there any opportunities for whitewater experiences in the Black Hills or regions nearby? I've been wanting to experience that first hand.

Actually, thanks to the decreased petro dollars pouring into the region the Middle East has improved vastly in the last several years. It may seem counterintuitive but the rentier economies of the much of the region helped suppress democratic movements. Now that the green spigot has reduced to a trickle groups such as the House of Saud has been forced to deal with internal pressures without the options of simply buying off the populace or leaning on the United States for military might. Give it some time and we could see a dramatic political renaissance in the region.

No exactly, it is a cultural gathering primarily. But yeah we also do the Eat, drink and blow shit up thing on the 4th as well. Kinda funny we celebrate the birth of the country that decimated Native Americans but what can you do? A party is a party.

I think it is also a thumb to the nose for all those that thought your people would have been wiped from the records as it were. Now perhaps with you around, and the change of your people's fortunes in general, that you now have something to celebrate.

Then again, this is today. Not the colonial period of North America.

Fireworks... YOUR fireworks...

Perhaps you should do the display in the middle of an unpopulated area... with about 20 kilometers around the launch site with no concentrations of population?

Just kidding, but can anyone who did see the fireworks tell me exactly what she did? So I can dress appropriately. Should I get a vulcanologist's heat-resistant suit or should I be fine with a firefighter's fire-resistant gear? :P

Oh my, now I'm using emotes.

No need to ask anyone, I'll tell you.

It was a short spread, high altitude ignition, mini-plasma charge. No more dangerous than a standard firework at worse. At least for the big ones. But with the design and layout I was able at the finale to illuminate the fairgrounds as if it was 3 times brighter than a full moon night. I combined it with a timed laser performance as well.

At least it didn't smell like gunpowder afterward. I've found that sort of smell makes me sneeze.

It has been a long time my friend. If I was not already occupied with my research, I would have made an appearance. It is probably for the best; I would'nt want to cause any problems. Besides, It's still too hazardous for me too be seen out there. Enjoy your Pow-Wow.
