I assure you the next time I host a Karaoke function it will remain a Karaoke function. Now on to other matters. The Pine Ridge Council has once again asked me to host the Oglala Intertribal Pow Wow this July. I have accepted to do so. I would ask all of you who would like to come to feel free. The event takes place for almost two weeks in early - midjuly so you can come and go whenever you like. I will likely be doing the opening ceremony again this year since the last time seemed to be such a big hit. There are campgrounds around the fairground if you feel like hanging out for any prolonged time. Good food and good time I promise.. And I will even be on my best behavior! But the first week is the opening dance and 4th of July and such. Plus I have heard that everyone is really hoping Samhra returns to the story circle this year. She was very popular for obvious reasons. Everyone can come and go as you please. All I ask is you enjoy yourself and what my people have to offer. I got a large project coming up around that time for my company.I really need to focus on that project. It's going to be a very large boon for our bottom line. It's starting up a bit after my sabbatical and lasting for well into the fall.So... Waki, in my youth I spent a couple of years on an Indian reservation, my father was a doctor in Cass Lake, MN.
