SkyLion
Sorry for the giant retcon post everyone. Some weekends especially I just get super-slammed busy. I hope thats not going to be a problem...And for the return pickup, Cody and Steve know each other pretty well, and Cody is a light sleeper. He will wake up early before the others and go down with Steve in the Cruiser (this time configured as a black and silver big Rig to pick up all of their supplies and when they get back to the ship will help make breakfast. After all, we need to have a conversation and as nice as a Vegas buffet is its not nearly private enough...
Courier
Not "all of our supplies". That's the work of several hours......but we could get enough food for breakfast.

Well...how many semi-trucks worth of supplies did we buy? And with our money Im thinking we hired a small army of people to load the truck quickly and efficiently. But yeah...Breakfast is SO on! Mr Fox
Even with an army of people, you'd have to make multiple stops and load and pay. Over all that will take several hours. You guys are stocking up for nova level appetites afterall. Plus, I'm assuming you are adding a machine shop to the previously arranged supplies as well. You really are probably looking at more than one truck load of stuff.
Courier
With a budget of 50 to 100 Million dollars? Several truck loads.I was going to ask about environmental controls for keeping the food cold, but I'm pretty sure that won't be a problem (especially as space is pretty cold). We'll probably have entire rooms set at low temperatures packed with food of one form or another. Courier
If Steve sounds irritated, he is. "Revenge against the Watchers" sounds to him alike a game plan akin to "let's win the lottery". A pipe dream that sounds good but is without foundation.

SkyLion
What, if anything, is holding up the IC thread? And did anyone like Cody's writeup or did I spend that hour needlessly?
Omar
I liked the character writeup. It gave me some insight into who Cody is, and why he is the way he is.I think we are waiting for 'I need revenge' Carter and Isabelle to speak up. If not, I'll post again tomorrow. I think we need to come to a decision as to what we are going to do.
Mr Fox
I can't post an update until you guys determine a direction to go or post intentions to do something. If I don't hear from anyone by tomorrow, I'll post your trip to earth to pick up supplies. The character post was great.

SkyLion
Um...so I guess Omatr heard "go with Cody" to mean, "Come with me..."So does anyone want to be Cody's "bodyguard"? (Not that he needs one, but yeah...)

One of my gifts is super human luck, so the obvious thing to do was to come to Las Vegas and win money. So we did.”You know...everything in Vegas is on camera. Plus Bellagio security has just seen and heard everything. There are probably news vans outside about to barge in through the door, people are snapping photos with their cell phones, and Bellagio management is probably pissed...you just admited to scamming them.Cody is shaking his head right now, which I will post after this next apointment (at work)...NOt that they could do much to us granted but still... Mr Fox
Anyone not in the room will likely believe it is some kind of joke/hoax, it is Vegas after all. Course hoax's are news worthy too.Security is outside the room with closed doors. Their are cameras in the room, but they are much less likely to be actively monitored than the ones on the casino floor. Besides any security watching will problaby think it is the next David Copperfield type show auditioning or something, there are more magic shows in Vegas than you can shake a stick at afterall. As for Mr. Hingle, if he were watching, he'd have to be thinking to himself that he doesn't want that kind of publicity. Gamblers in his casino being scammed out of 100 million... he definitely wouldn't want that leaked to the press. If he is watching and more importantly listening, he will probalby already be burying the security tapes and arranging for a little talk with Steve. Mr Fox
Oh, yeah, and someone in the audience might be. Whether it's a hoax or the real thing it'd still be news, and you guys might just find the media outside when you exit. Of course, the casino won't allow you to be disturbed while on their property, part of that whole vip treatment thing.
Omar
Omar is going to love the media. You may have to physically remove him from their presence, before he starts to demonstrate his powers to them.
Andrew Murphy
Carter is not sulking ... it's more like brooding. SkyLion
Re:Carter *I* know that. I was speaking IC from Cody's perspective. Nothing personal, just having fun roleplaying. As the player Im glad we have an odd mix of powers and perspectives. IC, Cody is dealing with it in his own way as well.

Courier
Well... letting everyone go for 3 days is just asking for trouble, but I don't see a way to avoid it. Same comment for giving out 20 grand in cash, but I'm less worried about this.17 crew, more than we wanted, but hopefully not a bad move.Things left to get: Baseline medicines, alcohol, water for a pool might be nice, various clothings for everyone (including bullet proof vests and the like), weapons (although I think we already have some)... I'd like to set up a firing range.
Andrew Murphy
Well we don't have to take them all on ... we've pretty much pooched this timeline already another few people claiming to have wacky powers is moot now.How big is Lorean anyways? We're so concerned about food, tools, and stuff but what about a b-ball court, bowling alley, etc?Carter would suggest these but he's a bit shitty right now
Courier
How big is Lorean anyways? She's the size of an aircraft carrier, with a max crew of 2500.Looking at a sample carrier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Wasp_%28LHD-1%29Complement: 1,075 crew, 1,600 troops (so it's pretty close)Length: 844 ft (257 m) Beam: 106 ft (32 m) Draft: 26.5 feet (8.1 m)A Football field is 100 yards x 50 yards.A Basketball court : 94 feet x 50 feet(Yes, the units don't match, I'm being lazy).
Andrew Murphy
According to Fox's original description Lorean is about the same length as an aircraft carrier that does not equate overall size only length which is why I asked. She could be only 1 story tall (which is still HUGE but thats beside the point) and thus be far smaller than a carrier is. Further she may not be as wide.
