Access Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Tommy, it has a very small LCD on it. Not very convenient, but for what the Knights need it's the most practical. It can interface with a small microphone about the size of button on your shirt collar, and I have had some luck building a small speaker into an earring. The much simpler method is the Tech Cloth and a HUD on a pair of glasses or sunglasses. I'm still a bit too nervous to try the contact lense variant, something I don't like about surface electronics on my eye, plus I calculate some focusing issues.It's no hulking powerhouse either, but it's more than what most people need for everyday usage. I'm still fighting heat issues to put a powerful graphics processor in it, though I'm experimenting with a heat conductive polymer and channeling it through clothing. It shows promise.Tarot, I'm still building each of these by hand so it's a very time consuming effort to produce just one, and they are still in Alpha testing.
