Big Eyes, Small Mouth (BESM): Nexus Earth - Chapter 9.3a Fallen Comrades

[Sakura]

She entered the room and listened for a moment. "Actually, if you can get me a method of breathing, and protection from the depths of the void." She meant outer space. "I am small and fast, I can fly almost to the speed of sound, I could carry up to several tons down to the surface."

[Justin OOC]

"We do have dropships, but it becomes more a matter of breaching their defenses."

Klan nods. "We could take the ships over the naval base, breach there, and use a small heavily armed force to make a breach somewhere else."

Ryoma shook his head. "They still have their Mecha, and the better part of three CRT's down there Klan, plus three Captains, and a pair of Lieutenants."

He nodded. "It would be a very rough mission for anyone going down, and to be small enough, there couldn't be any mecha."

[Columbian]

Francis groaned. "I see nobody considered the need for infiltration till now? Joyous. And I think a frontal assault is the last thing to try right now."

He furrowed his brow and began to think. "Time for creativity then. If my teleportation devices in my armor were enhanced, we could get close enough to the planet and then I could send myself and four others down to the surface and do the same thing when we need to get out. But do we have enough time for Ruri to work some temporary magic?"

[Justin OOC]

Ruri shook her head. "I doubt it."

"In truth we have a whole team dedicated to infiltration, we just didn't bring them. This was simply an escort mission, so we brought enough to ensure safety, not wage a Civil war."

Klan nodded. "We could do it, The Shin Getter and Gaogaigar, along with the Dominion breach at the base, and we could launch some drones there, enough to convince them it's serious. We send in The Quarter with my Entire CRT on the Continent of Arxis, for the Manufacturing center there. Finally Kai and a small team take a dropship and sneak in the back door here, in the Southern continent."

"That's a long way away Klan."

They're gonna expect us to go right for them, Showing patience is gonna be the way to go."

[Columbian]

"A back door is enough." Francis admited, rubbing his eyes. "On the other hand, we have to be prepared to move fast, we don't know what those two have planned.

A careful grin showed.

"At least a getaway from the scene is easier, I can teleport several people at once, and I doubt they'll be able to react fast enough when we're several miles away in an instant."

[Justin OOC]

Ruri looked at Francis. "luckily your teleportation system doesn't leave a trace like many others, it is somewhat harder to follow. Still I would not like to hinge escape solely on one person."

[Columbian]

"Me neither," Francis agreed, "but it'll give us some initial breathing space, I hope. Of course, it won't really matter as much if Takashi and Hizashi can track us. Do they have any other ways of detecting or tracking us as we make an escape other than sensors? "

[Justin OOC]

"Both are accomplished teleporters, and Hizashi never seems to fail his missions."

[Sakura]

"Well, we forced them to retreat when working together, earlier.. but really, as long as we have a plan and a direction, so that we can all keep going in the same direction, anything will work."

[Justin OOC]

Kai nodded. "We split up and make three attacks, Both diversions do all you can to make it real. If you can actually stop the industrial sector this will be easier."

He looked to the others. Ryoma, Klan, you'll lead the two attacks. Georgi, you and Eiji back them up. The Gaogaigar will go with Klan, and use the quarter for a base. The Macross will go with Ryoma. The Dominion and Archangel will be the third taskforce, to cover insertion of the covert team."

He looked at the others. "It will take six hours to get underway, and 3 more to get to the planet. Everyone, make your preparations."

[Columbian]

Francis got up and in a surprisingly focused manner, got up and started heading out of the room. His voice floated back across the air. "More than enough time to train and study our foes. I'll be in the training room for the next 6 hours..."

He was most alarmingly serious.

When he arrived at the training room, he set his armor into action and began considering the best enemy candidates for starting.

"Begin combat simulation, versus Klauss Wagner."

Sakura considered for a long moment, preparing for combat was a good idea, but one part of that was practice, and one part was proper rest, and mental preparation. With everyone dismissed, she left the room, heading to her own quarters, to clear her mind and soul, she meditated for a hour or so, then showered and laid down to sleep for a few hours, to be better rested for the mission coming up.
