Dawn OOC
Ouch. Kuruth sucks, no way around it.
Owns-The-Night
Yeah, those instincts suck IC. OOC, I'm glad as hell my long-running character didn't end up splattered all over the windshield.Sarah, I'll have a sketch-map up in a few shakes. Jeremy
In the mean time, can we get a declaration for Round 3?
Owns-The-Night
The situation map: 1 & 2 are in-close with Moss. 1 is the Hunter with the MP-5.Number 3 is down, gutted by Moss, but not necessarily all the way out.Number 4 is down with a spear wound in the belly and Jeremy's knife in his shoulder. 5 is standing by him and taking aim at Moss.Number 6 is the one bitten by Amber.None of the Hunters are yet aware of Sarah, and only 5 and 6 have a clue that Jeremy is there, but Moss is their priority now.Amber is outside on the south face of the church, chasing the Long Night wannabes.Start declaring. Jeremy
9- Jeremy keeps cover and draws another knife.
Sarah Dead-Wolf
13- Sarah's going to attack Hunter #6 (who conveniently is at the end of a pew she can race along to bite him; hooray for being a quadraped!).
Owns-The-Night
13 - Hunters 5 & 6 are turning towards Jeremy and opening up, shooting through the cover of the pew if necessary.Hunters 1 & 2 are intending to open fire on Moss (they don't know he's going to flee at this stage)Hunter 3 is drawing his pistol with one hand (the other is busy holding himself together) and taking aim at Moss.Hunter 4 is fumbling his own pistol out while he's on the floor, but is in pretty bad shape. Sarah Dead-Wolf
Peter, does Moss's sudden shift up into Gauru not invoke a Lunacy effect to some degree on the remaining hunters?
Owns-The-Night
Yes. But they have mucho WP, so for now can function: see my combat notes in the last Hunter actions post.
Rorx
They have been spending WP to overcome it - which given that I believe Dave gave them WP of 9 means they won't be effected by it at all during the fight.
Sarah Dead-Wolf
Jebus... very high Resolves and Composures for this bunch, I guess.
Dawn OOC
All they need is an 8 WP if they're willing to burn one every round to not take penalties when fighting us. Still high Resolves and Composures. They need 10's to withstand Lunacy with no effort.Just FYI - page 176 of the Core WW book if you want to know more. Rorx
On 16 - thanks to Garou formMoss will turn and do a runner out the side door behind him.Burn essence to heal 1LIf he doesn't get hit that will put him back up to 2/12 health with 7 Essence left to heal up with while he hides somewhere. Dawn OOC
Question for the ST - is Moss' exit clear to Amber?
Owns-The-Night
I'd say no. Amber's on the south side of the church and Moss's exit will be out the north side - when his turn comes.
Dawn OOC
Right then. Amber will take her bite - they need to clean up the fleeing guys - and hustle back toward the church.
Rorx
So is it Sarah or the Hunters up next to post?
Sarah Dead-Wolf
I think were back to stating declarations for the next round, starting with Jeremy...
Jeremy
Casting some healing Contract, is what Jeremy'll do.
Sarah Dead-Wolf
Facing the sudden onslaught of gunfire, Sarah will drag her poor bastard victim under a pew, lapping at the blood flowing from his gaping wound whilst using him and the pew as a shield for a moment. She'll spend a point of vitae to heal up a couple bashing levels.
Dawn OOC
Amber will return the church, and if she has movement/time, she will slip into the church between the pews (shifting to Urhan if she needs to) to try to get a better position for attack next round. She'll be using stealth to do that.
Owns-The-Night
Okay then. the remaining Hunters are split between Jeremy and Sarah, seeing the big fanged beastie as the larger threat, oddly enough. With that in mind...If they don't notice Amber, #1 will move to try and eliminate Jeremy's cover before opening up with his SMG. #2 and #5 will try and finish Sarah. #4 will try and drag himself to his feet, though he's not in the best shape. Ditto #3. Both 3 and 4 have pistols out, 2 and 5 have shotguns still.Play ball!
Dawn OOC
Quick question - does she need to shift to the smaller form, or can she do it in the bigger?
Owns-The-Night
Come on, folks. You don't need me to tell you what to do. Round is over, start declaring for next round, Jeremy firstest.*pokes the embers into life*
Jeremy
Declaring a Dodge at Init 14, to get the fuck away from the gunmen.
Owns-The-Night
#1 is finishing the move he started last turn and removing all cover from between him and Jeremy, then shooting.#2 and #5 are close enough to Sarah now to remove the covering pew, but there's still their dead/dying buddy in the way.#3 and #4 are stationary, waiting to take shots of opportunity.#6 is 'Mostly Dead'. It'd take Miracle Max to put him back together.
Sarah Dead-Wolf
Sarah's going to burst out from under the pew and see around tearing into one of those hunters in some nice tender muzzle-level location.
Dawn OOC
Amber's going to sneak up on #4 - someone standing around without something to do is a bad idea. She'll attack him.
Jeremy
btw, Dodge ignores normal initiative rules, you can call one for your turn at any Initiative.Neat no?
Sarah Dead-Wolf
Let's see. #4 just got his neck ripped out and is probably dead. #5 just got a massive bite to someplace muzzle-level (use your imagination), and isn't likely to be capable of a whole lot of anything other than shock and agony this turn. Oh, and one of the wolves doesn't seem to bleed or even slow down when shot. Might be time for some kind of morale check for the hunters, who have seen most of their team torn asunder. Yeah, I know, they all have incredibly high Resolves and Composures... but there's a point where that lizard hindbrain kicks in and says, "Fuck this shit, Boscoe, git while the gittin's good!" Jeremy
Don't forget #3 is near death, and #6 is dead too.
Sarah Dead-Wolf
Or in other words: I'm hoping we can bring this fic to a faster conclusion than "last man standing" so that we can get on with WoDA.
Jeremy
Final rouund!Jeremy will move a little closer, keeping cover, and draws a knife for the parting blow.
Sarah Dead-Wolf
Sarah's going to stand her ground and growl a nice convincing growl to encourage them to continue to withdraw (with plans of feeding frantically from the fallen when they do). She'll spend yet one more vitae healing another couple of bashing while she does; having them see the bullets pop out of her should help keep their nerves nice and rattled. Dawn OOC
Amber will be making a Kuruth roll, and blowing an Essence to heal 1 lethal. If she falls to Death Rage, she'll have enough health boxes to attack. If she doesn't, she's going to let them retreat with the intention of finding some still-warm blood from one of the living-but-injured.
