post your encounter here

Currently we have 2 small hounds going first, then Adrian, then the Big one, then Skye, then the two smaller ones. Ince Kage posts his init (if you have more than 12 you go after the two hounds going first, 12 puts you with Adrian, 10 with Skye, and 9 with the hounds.)

The two smaller hounds lunge at Kage and Ken, their jaws opening wide. The first manages to get in low and peirce his defenses, rearing up and raking Kage with its claws.

The second tries to bite Ken.

(Kage you need to roll 6,6 on the dice or you are hit for 30 by the claw rake for 30 damage.)

Ken gave his best shout and rushed the last few steps toward the beast. It snapped at him first, but bit too early. Ken screamed his frustration, fear, and rage into that swing.

(00:01:54) ChatBot: (Adrian) rolls 2d6 and gets 4,6+4(-1)=13 to hit the creature. 29 damage.

The briefcase came crashing down hard on the hellhound's head, causing it to yelp out. Ken could not help but feel a small sense of satisfaction with his effort.

The hound biting Kage gets slammed hard by the chain, which miraculously takes the head from the beast before it disintegrates.

The bigger hound moves in, trying to Attack Skye, but misjudges her ability to dodge prodigiously, and slashs through the air, and into the Demon Ken had already hit hard, killing it.

Skye shrieked in terror as the largest hound lunged for her. Pure fear jerked her backwards, almost as if she had been pulled by a line. The hound missed her and killed another, but in her terror she didn't even see that. Instead, she jerked her attacking tessen forward and screamed, "KamiKaze! Fury of the Northern Wind!" This time, she was more aware of the surge of power that arched from her fan, throwing shards of ice through the air.

The big hound got impaled by the massive ice shards and soon was completely frozen over. It was not however dead, as its eyes blazed with hate from within.

One of the smaller ones lashed at Ken and missed, while the other started trying to free the larger hound.

(Kage you're up, then Ken then the big one then Skye then the last 2)

She lashed out again at the beast in front of him, all the while praying feverishly to whatever spirits daned to watch his struggles from up above.

Ken missed the hound's head by inches, and the beast snarled and leapt at him, dark black claws seeking his side, tearing open three gashes in his side.

(OOC 15 damage)

The large one shook its icy prson and got it's head and front legs free, thanks in part to the efforts of the final hound, feverently working to free it.

PC's turn. Skye you're up then Kage.)

"Nein! Nein!" Skye screamed, seeing her work undone by another monster. This time, other words surged forth and she shouted, "KamiKaze! Fury of the Western Wind!"

The roaring, rushing wave of wind tore indiscriminately through the space between her and the hounds. The largest of the hounds was sliced open, losing most of its head and part of its shoulders. It began to dissipate instantly. The other one lept away, and was cut instead of being cut open.

The chain swings out and snaps the spine of the hound, killing it as it disintegrates moments later.

Finally, the trio is free to continue.

There's a slight breeze in the air as Lindh returns, carrying Skye's mother. Lindh herself was injured, and blood marred the left side of her armor.

She looks to Kinobi and makes a sour face. "For the record, Master, I truly hate swordstalkers." She looks to Skye. "Thank you for watching out for my master."

Worry fills Ken's face as he sees Lindh.

"You'll be okay," he pleads, "just as soon as we get you to the temple."

He turns to Kage and Skye and bows,

"Indeed, thank you for your courage and might." Swinging his briefcase idly, he adds, "I wish I could have contributed more."

As soon as Skye and her mother are together,

"We must hurry to the temple. We need to see if we need to send help to find Jim and Kaori-sempai."

"Mutter!" Skye cried, throwing herself forward and wrapping her arms around her. Aalis Fell blinked, looking a little dazed but she returned Skye's hug.

"We must hurry to the temple. We need to see if we need to send help to find Jim and Kaori-sempai."

"Skye, what is happening?" Aalis asked in German, her blue eyes afraid.

"I don't know," Skye admitted, taking her hand. "But we need to go somewhere safe." Looking at Kage and Ken, she said in Japanese, "Let's go."
