archer
RIP. A wonderful comedian and host. He made the Tonight Show into what it is today.
Heritage
I remember growing up watching 'The Tonight Show' when I was little, and none of the current 'Big Three' late night hosts is Johnny Carson's equal: Leno is irritating, Letterman seems more crotchety than Carson was at 70, and as funny as O' Brien is, he injects too much of himself into the interviews. Even though he's been off the air for over ten years, I was still very sad to hear he died. ::sad

Ayre el KaBeer
I didn't see any of Carson's shows until 2003, it blew me away that the comedy from way back works so well, he had to have been the finest presentor of all time deposing letterman from top place... Leno doesn't even fall in the same league.
