SalmonMax
Name: Aria ThespidRace: Jorogumo (spider yokai)Gender: Female Age: 15Height: 5' 5"Weight: 113lbsEyes: BlueHair: BrownGeneral Appearance: A small, svelte slip of a girl with a beautiful, but sinister face. Her skin is fair and perfectly clear of complexion. Her hair is a rich brown, long and straight. With striking blue eyes and often revealing wardrobe, she turns heads, and is sometimes mistaken for a vampire.Personality: If a person could be boiled down to a single word; if it were possible to capture someone's essence with so crude a net, for Aria that word would be Patient. Fastidious and meticulous would be close seconds. Aria plays the long game, and she plays to win. She takes her time planning and observing, and by the time she starts putting things into motion it's usually far too late to stop her. With her rather gothy appearance, her cool emotional distance and her penchant for drinking blood, Aria is often mistaken for a vampire...which is one of the few things that gets under her skin and visibly irritates her. Background: Aria was born in the human world and lived there for a long time. Her mother lived in an old abandoned shrine in Japan, far off the beaten track. Or, at least, it had been. Over time, the cities grew, and while the shrine remained hard to find, it was no longer so remote. Aria took to creeping off to watch the humans and immediately noticed how different their families were. Like all jorogumo, she had never known her father, as it had been his fate to be eaten immediately after mating. When her mother told her this, Aria was horrified; remembering how happy the human children had been with their dads, and how happy the couples had been together. Eventually Aria's mother had to return to the monster world, and Aria accompanied her. She was enrolled in Monster Academy...ostensibly to prepare her for the tough job of being a mature monster in a modern world, but privately she had decided that she would use the school to find out how to have a real family, no matter what.
