Major Ryan Hawke volunteered for human advancement, and is one of the most human of the results of the procedure. A Career Marine, his values loyalty and determination above all else. He was a capable Marine and Major before enhancement, but afterwards he found he had an almost intuitive grasp of things he'd never really trained in fully before.

His core physical attributes were increased beyond human norms, and most notable of his abilities is the ability to heal his own wounds via regeneration.

Ryan isn't a small man by any means, but he looks as though there isn't an ounce of fat anywhere on him. Even enhanced, he spend at least an hour a day working out to maintain and improve his physical abilities.

At times he has been known as Major Cool, For his unflappable nature under the most fantastic conditions. He's known for being an excellent by the book officer in all respects, but also it's generally known that he's willing to push the envelope and pay the price himself to secure his objectives. He never asks for more than he's willing to give.

One of his former commanders has risen to a position of Power within the Organization overseeing the Stargate project, and the two have a friendship born of trial by fire in live combat and each owe the other for numerous saves.
