Peak human when not transformed, transformed his strength and weight increase geometrically, both at least into the dozens of tons and possibly up into the hundreds.

Known Quantum Powers:

Basically Josh turns into a flying bullet train. He can transform into Light. While transformed he is super strong and durable. Also while transformed he is bullet train fast and can fly. Oddly while he can fly, his flight speed is less than his running speed.

Josh is profoundly ignorant of much of modern, technical society.

Josh is an expert at so many physical skills that it’s probably one of his powers.

Josh is quite charming and attractive and is also a known womanizer.

Backstory:

Josh Brickman was born in 1915, fought in World War 2, developed Alzheimer’s during the 80’s, and erupted in 2008 in a nursing home. He might have erupted as a response to his death from Alzheimer’s or a stroke, but that is speculation. During his eruption time halted in his room and when it restarted he was apparently 25 years old and in an idealized body. Unfortunately much of his memory was destroyed by his previous diseases. Even more unfortunately most of the relevant records about him have apparently disappeared into boxes in the basements of buildings before computers were widely adopted. He was placed in the home in 1985. No one has come to see him in years. What little he remembers is of a vastly different world. He has the ‘feeling’ that he was a solider in the ‘great’ war, but even that might be building on what others have told him.

After eruption Josh was taken to a Utopian clinic by a Utopian Intervention team. After several weeks of training in how to use his powers Josh left and chose a job that seemed at least a little familiar, soldiering. In modern terms, he became an elite working for DVNTS, and a successful one. His joining of speed and strength is brutally effective, usually he leaves his target flattened like it got hit by a bullet train.

Appearance & Personality:

Josh looks 25 now rather than his 93 years of age, and with red hair, blue eyes, and a square jaw, powered down Josh could be a Hollywood stereotypical Irish Brawler played by a fitness model. Impressive of build, quick of wit and with a magnetic personality, Josh is quite the ladies man… and he is also quickly lost in any conversation involving modern society or technology. Eruption gave him his mind back, but not his memories or the lost decades and he can still feel a bit out of sorts.

To make up for his lost decades right now he’s trying to experience as much of life as he can, as fast as he can. Fortunately for him (and DeVries), this fits the elite lifestyle very nicely and is very profitable. Powered up Josh’ is slightly over 12 feet tall and weighs at least six and half tons. His body is apparently made of a sky blue “solid light” which matches his eyes.
