Strength Level:

Lucas’s standard level of strength allows him to lift roughly a metric ton. On occasion, Lucas has shown the ability to lift more weight but this has been inconsistent.

Known Quantum Powers:

Lucas is a Telekinetic who constantly channels telekinetic energy through his entire body increasing both his strength and resistance to damage. He has shown the ability to actively enhance this effect, boosting all his physical attributes as well as enhancing his resistance to damage further. Lucas has also displayed the ability to wrap his hands and feet in “telekinetic force” allowing him to hit opponents harder and to create seismic shockwaves in the ground. When using his telekinesis at range he has been shown to lift weights up to 5000 kg although it is theorized he is capable of lifting far more weight if he applied himself.

Back Story:

Lucas grew up in the cradle of privilege and wealth. The second son (and middle child) of a wealthy Texas oil tycoon, little was expected of him except to get a “proper” education, find a socially acceptable wife, and give his parent’s grandchildren. Like his brother before him, his father attempted to instill what he considered “masculine” virtues in the boy like a healthy interest in sports, guns and horseback riding. His mother attempted to make him into the perfect southern gentleman. Neither was quite successful. Unfortunately for his parents, Lucas has no intention of getting married or settling down.

As expected, Lucas went off to Princeton to study business and economics but unlike his older brother he showed more interest in enjoying his freedom rather than preparing to help take over the family business. Out from under the domineering eye of his father and the cloying social gentility of his mother, Lucas began exploring the fruits his family’s money could bring him. Through out is college years, Lucas spent almost as much time drinking, partying and generally being a degenerate as he did in class or studying yet somehow he managed to just squeak by with a business degree.

Lucas’ eruption took place on his graduation trip. He and a few friends had gone down to the “Mayan Riviera” for a couple of weeks of relaxation and yet more partying. While exploring some of the local ruins and drinking their faces off a tremor caused a ruin to collapse trapping the young men in one of the old structures and injuring Lucas’ best friend. The young men succumbed to fear and panic, and while scrabbling against the tons of rock blocking the exit, Lucas felt the first pangs of power flood through him.

Thinking the pain in his head was a result of the collapse, Lucas continued to desperately claw his way out of the ruin until the stones actually began to give way under his effort. A shimmer of golden energy ran through him and with a mighty shove Lucas managed to create a wide enough opening for his friends to escape. Using his new found telekinetic power, Lucas also managed to lift his friend without disturbing his injuries and the group made their way to a local hospital.

Lucas was immediately escort to a local area Rashoud facility and when it was deemed safe for him to leave he headed back to he states. So far he hasn’t declared what he intends to do as a new Nova but has already been seen in the Ibiza party circuit.
