The trooper said nothing, and didn't bother him, allowing him to eat in peace.

After Francis finished and cleaned up, he wracked his brains as for something he could do. The paucity of adequate options in this location made him sigh for a moment. Well, if one could not forget the war, he would have to know how to win the war. A curiousity led him to wonder if he could psychologically profile Takashi and Hizashi, and see if that could help predict their tactics.

But that would mean getting into Satoshi files. As Francis went out of the cafeteria, he used his suit communications to contact Ruri. "Captain Hoshino, would there be any problems if I could see Satoshi files regarding Takashi and Hizashi for... tactical and psychological study?"

Ruri thought, then nodded. "I can grant you provisional access, yes, but be warned, there is more Takashi than Hizashi."

"I'm not surprised. Where should I get them?"

"Come back to the hangar bay, I have a private room you can view them in at your leisure."

[Columbian]

"Right." Francis was as prompt as his word, and pretty soon heard the whirs and buzzing of machinery as the repairs continued in the hangar bay.

true to her word, she showed him to a small room with a large data terminal. "Just ask it anything and it will provide the information you seek, if it's in our database."

"Ok." Francis turned his attention to the terminal. "Computer, bring up a psychiatric profile of Captain Hizashi."

(OOC: Not sure if a roll is needed to derive directly useful information or not, we should talk about it.)

It took him a few minutes, but he managed to find his way to the data. Most of it was very basic, his Height, his weight, hair color and eye color.

His Age was Listed as Fifty-eight, and his power type was classified as human/other.

There was a short interview, in which Hizashi baffled the Pychologist by alternating reading comppletely true statements, and completely false ones. Most peculiarly, was the birthday, he failed it horribly, yet when asked his age, it was completely true.

Defining his power was all over, and yet there were no outward signs. Much of it was very boring.

The interview continued, followed by the notes of the interviewer. "Subject Hayami has a presence that is undeniable, yet he is extremely private. Has palpable aura of power, I reccomend him formally for First Captain Position." The Date of the Interview was the biggest suprise, It was dated September 30th, 1935.

Who is this guy Francis could tell there were contradictions written all over Hizashi. The alternating statements, the power signs, and the age... That wasn't right. There was no way Hizashi could be 58 and that interview being in 1935. Besides the intriguing fact that Satoshi had been active since at least the 30s, Hizashi had to be older than that.

"Computer, when did Hizashi first become known to Satoshi? Also, bring up a history of Satoshi Heavy Industries."

"Subject's power was first detected September first, 1930."

Following that, A ninety year history of the company known As Satoshi Heavy Industries followed. They cited "Artifacts" found, a dozen dives, and salvage operations after World War II, and the terms "LAguna and Omoikane."

There was no mention of the Private army that were the Crisis response teams, beyond that Satoshi won the right to provide their own security forces for their holdings. It was bland and boring, and perhaps notably, Satoshi showed economic growth no matter what the economy of Japan was doing at the time.

Francis closed his eyes, as he got a sense of the company's history, clearly there was much more behind the surface, even with the obvious ones he had seen. And Hizashi... the wording suggested that he'd come out of nowhere, and clearly can't have been 58.

"Computer, please elaborate on the Subject's first detection."

"Demonic activity was detected, At least dozen A rank, and two two S-rank. Subject was witnessed using his unreleased Zanpuktou to slay both S-rank at once. Hunter team approached cautiously, and all reported a sense that he was actually watching them, a feeling of palpable dread as if they were next. Team leader Hoshi Minori deactivated cammoflage protocol and approached, offering his hand in friendship. Subject did not respond, and instead vanished."

Yep, Hizashi was definitely older than his profile. The description only heightened the question of who he was, which unfortunately, Francis sensed would not be answered any time soon, or with these resources.

"Alright, Computer, please bring up a psychiatric profile of Takashi."

The computer complied bringing up everything about his early childhood, his data as a Captain Candidate, but afterwards there was nothing. Literally no entry. Something wasn't right. Takashi was not quite a direct descendant of the original founder, but was largely regarded as the heir apparent for the massive company, then Kai morisato was discovered five years before.

Francis groaned and cradled his head in his hands for a bitter moment. Like Hizashi, there were secrets to them, but frankly, he was getting a lot more questions than answers. Clearly the files on Takashi had been limited in order to keep quiet on his craziness, if he was the only likely person to take control, frightening as the prospect was.

So it seemed his original intent had failed. Leaning against the wall, Francis took a breath to think over the information. Was there something had hadn't considered yet?

Ruri chose that moment to interrupt. "Having issues,Francis?"

"Maybe." Francis muttered, staring at the opposite wall rather than looking at Ruri. "Takashi's file is completely barren of information after he reaches Captain. I think it's clear why the metaphorical mouth is shut on the subject, since he was going to take over..."

"But it's not helpful. Hizashi, on the other hand, is an enigma, which I want to unlock. He's listed as age 58, which is impossible, considering that he was recommended for Head Captain in 1935. Which was rather damn fast, considering that five years before was a potentially hostile first contact. I suppose I should look up the intervening years, but in short, he's gotten from mysterious possible threat to leader of the CRTs in a dramatically short period of time. Something to think about, right?"

"Not really. Hizashi demonstrated his power relatively early, and it was under his impetus that the CRT's in their current forms were first created. He proved to be a vast reliable asset, and the Company rewarded him."

"As for Takashi, yes his files are relatively sparse, even the mecha stats on his machine are only from the battles we've fought against him."

[Columbian]

"Reliable, and yet now he's stabbed you all in the back."

Francis shook his head as to clear it.

"Well, regardless, I'm getting nowhere here. This is when I wish something would happen."

"In truth, Francis, we're the rebels." Ruri's voice didn't waver. "He was the head Captain, and Takashi his second. Atsushi lead the charge for Kai, and got many of the other captains to back him. Had the council of Captains actually taken place, then Kai would rightfully have been elevated. Takashi went on a rampage, killing at least 3 supporting Captains and their Lieutenants. Atsushi and I did our best to get the others out, and Ryoma and Amane shepherded the Princess, Kai and their allies to safety."

"Really?" Francis curiously raised an eyebrow. "I see, but still, why would Hizashi back an what was an obviously known to him psychotic to replace him? That doesn't make sense."

"The Head Captain does many thing we don't understand, though for the most part, what he decides to back always proves better for the company. It was thought initially that he would back Kai."

Just then there was a sharp tone. "It would seem Agent Gold, that the head captain has called for an officer's meeting. We need to go."

Before he could protest, she nodded. "You have special dispensation to come, since it is not prohibited."
