If you watch Stargate Atlantis then you saw the perfect example of Mega Charisma friday night.A character named Lucius, a former not-well-liked baker, discovered an herb on a distant planet. He tried baking the herb into his breads and soon discovered that people started liking him more and more. Turning the herb into a potion the effects grew even stronger, giving him complete control over his entire village. In the episode he visited Atlantis and soon had complete control over its people as well.The potion was supposed to work by causing his body to produce a powerful pheremone. This pheremone eliciting extremely strong positive feelings toward him in others, they WANT to please him and they do. That last bit sound familiar?
