ProfPotts
I saw the new version of 'The Punisher' the other day. I didn't mean to - I was off to see 'Hero' & was delayed by a closed bridge, so thought that the latest Marvel film would be a fair substitute. Boy was I wrong... The biggest pile of pants since the continent of Atlantis was sunk by having too many pants piled onto it... ::angry ... All I can say is: come back Dolph, all is forgiven! ::tongue ::wink ::2ar15 ::m60 ::getsome
knave
Hero is pretty darn cool though ::biggrin Very crouching tiger, but not quite. Also with the very folksie tale thing that has that particular oriental way of being perfectly logical in a universe somewhat different from reality ::biggrin
Finbar
Re: Punisher1) Dolph Version: Sorry, but I fear some kind of nostalgic haze is in effect. I think it's been used (with Robo-Cop III) why Frank Miller should stick to comics...Punisher vs. Yakuza just doesn't feel right...2) Janes Version: I liked the neighbors, but the vendetta and statement of intent were just silly. Did like the hydrant ::biggrin . Strangely, I think if there had been less firepower, and less over-the-top acting by Travolta, it would have been great....FR
