Chromatic anatomy: The chromatic physiology >>>pictures<<< likely evolved in a harsh environment of both complete darkness and intense light. Their skins, aside from being abrasion and heat resistant (suggesting rough cave-like dwellings at some point in their recent history) are capable of absorbing oxygen from both water and air – suggesting that they are currently amphibious or have been so relatively recently in their evolutionary past.

Each chromatic has two brains. The first brain is located in the head and appears to be primarily for sensory processing, whilst the second brain located in its chest takes care of other functions. Chromatic skin is dotted with motion and heat sensing eyespots giving it an apparent 360 degree awareness. Further, chromatics have two pairs of fully developed eyes. These eyes, located on the head are divided into two sets – those facing forward are much like human eyes with strong distance perception, whilst those on either side of the head move independently like those of chameleons. Both of these sets of eyes have vastly more cone structures than human eyes resulting in the ability to see a much wider range of the EM spectrum including a small part of the infra-red and ultra-violet ranges. Chromatics tend to have one set of these eyes open at a time, but are perfectly capable of rapidly switching between them. Nictitating membranes cover both sets of eyes when chromatics are underwater or in dusty environments.

Chromatic lights appear to be completely controlled by the Photokinetic ability that all chromatics possess. It is apparent that chromatics are capable of using this ability to communicate, to hide themselves – and sometimes even as a weapon. Light seems highly important to chromatic physiology to the extent that we believe that their nerve impulses are transmitted via optic rather than chemical signals resulting in reaction speeds vastly superior to humans’.

Chromatic language: The chromatic language is relatively simple in nature, but not delivery. Each word is formed by the projection of certain coloured lights over the body, with compound words being formed by projecting two or more words at once. Chromatics have no tenses, but rather add the modifiers for ‘in the past’ or ‘in the future’ to the end of sentence constructs. Chromatics lack unique words for most technology – eg. they call space craft high-rafts. However, the language does appear quite dense when dealing with the subject of shades of light and types of water. All in all the chromatic language suggests a bronze-age culture that has been accelerated to space faring status by outside influences.

Chromatics also employ a barking sound based language, but it seems to contain only a few words – most of which are direct orders and are military in nature. They may also use these sounds to add emotional content to their light based language.

Chromatic weaponry: Chromatic warriors wear equipment webbing and carry biolasers that are very strongly reminiscent of Orgotek designs of perhaps ten years ago, although perhaps not as cleanly produced. These weapons are not quite as efficient or as dangerous as current weaponry. Chromatic vessels are also very similar to Orgotek designs, with exception that they are built with extreme amounts of redundancy – leading us to believe that much, if not all of the race lack the skills to repair complex equipment.

Chromatic Tactics: On the whole chromatic tactics are reminiscent of those primitive hunters might employ. They use stealth followed by ambush in numbers. They also use baited traps. In these cases the ‘bait’ is normally a chromatic ‘pack leader’ who the others seem to view as heroes.

Chromatic pack leaders seem to possess a greater degree of control over their photokinetic gifts and also apparently exhibit low levels of pyrokinesis.

Effective Anti-Chromatic Tactics:

Chromatic physiology could be described as 'somewhat redundent'Eg. Destroying most of either brain will kill a chromatic, but destroying part of either will result in an extremely aggravated berserker.

Chromatics react badly to visual sensory depravation - they have a 'fear of the dark'. This is normally not much of a problem for them, however, we have developed a variety of smoke grenade which releases smoke that has a high enough vapour and monofibre content to block their visual range for a short time. This generally causes Chromatics to panic and to become agitated.

Further, although Chromatics are highly resistant to heat and appear to have some ability to even deflect lasers, they seem ill equipped to deal with cold. We are currently testing ammunition which injects liquid nitrogen into the target.

We are also in the process of developing nerve agents by which to affect Chromatics, but these are further from completion. Additionally, they will require UN backing to use. Acquiring this backing is considered likely as it appears that Chromatics were fully prepared to use Strategic Nuclear Weapons against Earth.

We have put together some Anti-Chromatic Liquid Nitrogen grenades, but due to an evaporation problem, they have a limited spread. We're guessing that, although the weapons are not seriously dangerous to armoured humans, the Chromies will suffer considerable damage due to the severe vulnerability of their heat sensitive eyespots.

Numbers of these weapons are limited and Spec. Ops. teams get first pick.

Chromatic Home World - Designated Chrome Prime

The Chromatics appear to have no word for their home planet again pointing to lack of sophistication in the race's thinking.

We know that primary Chromatic population centres are below ground, and that the surface of their world is extemely dry with a hot F9 or G0 (yellow-orange) star at considerably less than 1 AU range. Additionally, the atmosphere of Chrome Prime is thinner than Earth's resulting in acute day/night temperature variations. Should any personell be caught on the surface, vac-suit oxygen supplies should be tapped when attempting anything more than mild exertion. The air is otherwise breathable, becoming thicker underground.

Other native organisms. We don't know, but we know that Chromatics are carnivores. This likely indicates that the Chromatics are at the head of a food chain. The fact that they are so warlike would indicate that competition within the chain is strong.

CLASSIFIED: Witnesses

The captured Chromatics refer to the 'Witnesses' as 'Those who have definitely seen the pure spirits' and 'Those who look only forward toward absolute truth in the future' and 'Those who watch all in the present' and 'Those whose lights shine most brightly'. The caputured chromatics also speak of the witnesses as 'Those who bring gifts to cross the cold-dark' and 'Those who bring gifts to destroy the absolutely black ('evil?') corruptor/decievers' and 'Those who lead from behind'.

This last comment could suggest dissatisfaction amongst the chromatic ranks with the ways of the witnesses. Ths is an angle that we would like investigated if at all possible.

This is laughable. Rumour has it that somehow the mad Queen’s malady has spread throughout her country – and most strongly within her own family. I’m sure it won’t be long before The Sun channel is claiming that her madness is claiming British Politicians too. While it is extremely hard to judge what Elsbeth’s position will be, it seems likely that she is being used by the Ukraine as a catspaw to thwart the Gatwick plan, since they were not invited.

NOTE: At present all of Romania apart from the capital is occupied by ‘Ukranian Peacekeepers’ apparently at Queen Elsbeth’s request. It is common knowledge amongst Europeans that the powerful Ukranian Army wants to use Romania as a base to attack one of its neighbours, most likely the NOE or Poland. That together with the fact that the Ukraine is a police state that has ‘never been part of Europe’ is what is why they were not invited to these talks.

The DDSR treads the middle ground. It does not have the industrial capacity of Poland or the (comparative) richness of the NOE, but its citizens are not starving. It runs under a socialist plan that gives up its stranglehold little by little. As far as the Trinity knows, the Plan does not include contingencies for events like the Gatwick Plan that could potentially change everything. We believe that it is for this reason that the DDSR sent one of their triumvirate of Government Office heads to the summit; Gerhardt needs to be convinced that the plan will work, which is why Gerhardt and those with him should be closely guarded. It should also be noted that the DDSR has a great deal of trouble with the Gnostic Christian cult known as the Firewalkers and that Gerhardt himself recently lost a cousin who happened to be a police officer in a Firewalker related bombing. Expect trouble from him when dealing with Tamarika K.

Switzerland has become the voice of post-Esperenza Europe. Since the country has been heavily involved in European assistance programs for some time, it would be logical to assume that they will support the Gatwick plan. However, it is well known that the Swiss are extremely conservative and cautious. Gatwick will require Swiss funding and the genius of Switzerland’s bankers if he hopes to have the Beanstalk’s distribution system work properly. Frankel will have to be won over, one way or another.

Note: The Trinity is aware that MI6 has gathered intelligence on Frankel. Apparently the Swiss Ambassador owes La Lien (the Swiss Mafia) quite a large sum of money. It remains to be seen whether or not Gatwick will use this information to influence Frankel.

Greece has already broken into three province/states and they know that they can’t defend themselves against an attack from one of the three big industrial powers in the region. Comments The way Rossoux tells the story she was safe and healthy living in the relatively stable city-state that Nice has become when she felt a calling 'in her mind and her heart'. She opened the door and the woman there was 'both beautiful and simple but otherwise indescribeable' in her appearance. They talked about 'private things' and after that Rossoux went off into France proper where she was 'needed' to 'save souls'. Rossoux's group were quite welcoming once we'd handed over the glup supplies that we brought for that purpose. Last we saw them they were in the Lyon region helping a small farming community get established by holding off brigands. They were quite well armed with what appeared to be quite new Voss weaponry. They refused to tell us where they'd got the weapons from.

Several groups of both factions exist both within and without France itself.

Outside France the Witnesses seem to be a Religion for some and a 'Movement' for others. The Home Guard was once Britain's 'Dad's Army' - a militia of retired soldiers and old men who would defend her shores from spies and invasion while her military was engaged elsewhere.

Today the Home Guard is Britain's largest armed force. It employs both new and veteren officers, career soldiers and 'citizen militia' terretorial army types - some of whom are little more than football hooligans. Home Guard forces should generally not be underestimated however. Officers have access to advanced data resources and often have the power of public opinion behind them in xenophobic Britain.

Officially the Home Guard's mandate is to "defend the borders of the United Kingdom from threats to her security and prosperty".
