Conduit
I hope everybody had a good Halloween. I didn't have a whole lot of kids coming to my door as I live in a neighborhood heavily populated by students. I had a few teenagers, little bastards didn't even bother to dress up. The highlight was the little girl who couldn't have been more then 2 who was dressed up as a glittery lady bug. She got lots of candy for being too damn adorable.Back to my subject header, Happy dia de los Muertos. Today is dia de los Angelitos, so if you have kids today is the day to celebrate them. Give them candy if they don't already have any, tell them about the family history and anecdotes from when you were their age. And tomorrow is THE day, so you should eat some candy and have a whole lot of fun remembering those who have passed.
David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
We actually ran out of candy on Halloween, even after "donating" all of the hard candy our little one's had gotten earlier (they only get to keep soft). Wave after wave of teens visited, but I have to say they did dress up so that's OK.
