General Appearance: Meru is a pretty young nekojin with fluffy blue ears and an overly excited tail that swishes from side to side with a mind all it's own. Although not as developed as some of the other ladies her age, as a nekojin she's proportioned for speed and grace, not beauty. Nonetheless she's adorable to a fault and always wears a smile that often reveals the fangs hidden behind her lips.

Although she wears her hair short, before she cut it she kept two long 'tails' that flow down her back. When she moves swiftly it looks like she is trailed by two fluttering blue ribbons.

Personality: Although she possessed of average intelligence, Meru is about as naive as a poor girl can get. Always cheerful and bubbly she never seems to be negatively affected by the goings on around her, as least, not on the outside. No matter the situation Meru is ready to go and happy to be of help.

The young girl is a bottomless pit! There is nothing she can't or won't eat, within reason. She;s obsessed with food and easily distracted by the enchanting scents of fresh baked... anything or a bubbling strew pot of... whatever. She's particularly fond of birds and loves to hunt them, finding new recipes for their preparation is one of her hobbies.

Although she is kind and sweet, Meru is every bit the fierce predator as the rest of her species. She is assumed to be from a 'tribe' and carries her people's trademark 'Iron Claws' with her from time to time. She is lightning fast and thus far seems capable of reflexive feats that borderline on divine grace. Although little is known about the nekojin in the World of Monsters, if Meru is just a child then it some have begun to fear what the adult warriors might be like.

Background: Nothing is known of Meru's background. She was delivered to the Academy by a massively huge nekojin that some say was her father. Whomever he was, the faculty and he seemed on good terms with one another and Meru was left in the care of the school.
