General Appearance: Suzume is slender, with dark mixed-Asian features, just on the androgynous side of exotic. Her normally mocha skin as well and light brown eyes and black hair are always subject to change as Suzume has the ability control the entirety of her body’s pigmentation. Her presence is immediately striking, as Suzume channels much of her creativity into her personal fashion, usually in the extreme harajuku (Japanese gothic/punk) style.

Nature of Mutation: Suzume has demonstrated a versatile ability to generate and manipulate light in the visible spectrum. She can emit and sustain a strong glow (10,000+ lumens) for a considerable length of time, or generate it in short, blindingly intense bursts. With concentration she can creative remarkably convincing holograms, and even generate sound waves, though we have yet to understand how this is done.

Personal History: Suzume’s parents divorced while she was still very young. Her mother, Charlotte Demouy, a successful business consultant, raised her almost exclusively. Records show that she was born in Tokyo, but by the age of thirteen has lived in New Orleans, Montreal, London, back to Tokyo, apart from her mother for two months (why? With who?)[i/] We have no idea), then back with Mom to live in Dubai, Paris, Hong Kong, São Paulo and finally London again.

At the end of December 2009 (Just before the start of Aberrant: Mutant High events) Suzume became mysteriously ill. She suffered from abdominal pains and was no longer able to eat for several days. It was diagnosed as pancreatitis by the schools medical staff, and she prescribed bed rest for the rest of the week, but was then suddenly transferred to an off campus facility. She has not been able to see anyone for the past few weeks or receive phone calls, but has been keeping in touch with a few friends through e-mails etc.
