Andrew Fischer Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Appearance: Fischer is a tall man with long, thick sideburns, blue eyes, and dark, reddish-tinged hair. He favors extremely casual clothes when he can get away with it (pajamas off-duty) and walks slightly stooped.Background: Fischer was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and was an unemployed engineer in his mid-twenties when he managed to bag a civvie job for the CIA working with black tech. He showed a special talent for figuring out how to utilize the new ideas utilized by foreign tech for the government's advantage, and after several years of stellar service, they wiped his record and sent him to work for the NID. Fischer's role there was modest for a while, as they started him out on baby food, giving him tech they'd already figured out without telling him where it came from, and watching him go to work. Eventually, after a lengthy training period and psych eval (and a blood test; always a blood test), Fischer found himself awoken at a disagreeable time of night and forced into a little room with a strange artifact. It's a bit blurry.Just about the time he found himself nova'd and nearly overloaded with new sensory information, SG1 shut the project down and Andrew found himself with a new, maybe not better-paying job, but still a damn interesting one.
