During the last couple of weeks Joshua has gone thru a "rebirth" so to speak upon him become a Nova. On the run from the law there were little places for him to go in order to truly learn the extent of his powers. Making his way to an abandon warehouse, Joshua set himself up a tempory home, to lay low for a while and gather himself.

His first few days were spent in agony as he contiuned to suffer from intense headaches. It with a lot of patince and plenty of pain he was able to focus his powers enough that he could rid himself of the headaches and, at the same time properly control his powers. His main focus on this was his desire for revenge on that scum of an Englishman Charlie. Thoughts of how much payback he was gonna get helped him keep his mind off the pain of his self training.

The plan he devised to strike back at Charlie seemed simple enough. He would stakeout Charlie's store for a couple of days to get a feel on who came and went, and how much business he had done. Then he would sneak inside during the night and rob the place, and to thrash it as well. The third part of the plan was what he liked the best. He would follow Charlie home one evening and give him the biggest scare of his life.

Night of July 15

Joshua sits outside the store eagerly waiting for Charlie to lock up shop. It's was a rather cool night, a welcomed relief from the summer heat of the last few days. Standing in the shadows of the street light, Joshua watches Charlie lock up his shop and head off briskly for his car. After about 10 minutes or so he makes his move toward the shop. A quick surge of quantum energy and he becomes completely invisible, unnoticed by the few passing people.

The security system Charlie has in place, almost catches him by surprise. In addition to the standard gate lock it looked like Charlie had installed what looked to be an open circuit alarm system in the door. A small chuckle escapes his mouth as he smiles to himself, thinking that this would stop him, maybe other sucker but not him. With a few snips of his wire cutters the alarm was disable and he was able to make his way into the shop.

He moves through the store in erratic bursts of energy from place to place without a sense of urgency guided by the muted lights from the outside street lamps. He takes a few moments of concentration and out spring four "imps". Sharing only their creators skin color these imps were shaped to look more like little devils. Their horns were curved like a ram and their closely placed eyes beady and bright, with slender claw like hands and feet.

He moves toward the door in full view of the room, and then sets his "minions" to start creating total chaos in the room. The sounds of the display cases shattering the racks of videos falling in all music to his ears. One of his imps brings over some jewelry, which will help him turn a profit out of his destruction. In less than two minutes the place was wrecked, and the sounds of police siren's was in the air. Time to go . Taking another moment he allows his imps's to recombine with his body, and out into the streets he goes, quickly darting away from the store, into the shadows of the night.

Police are investigating a Monday morning break-in and robbery of local business man Charlie Ackland West Market Pawn shop.

The incident occurred at about 11 p.m. at the AAA Pawn shop on West Market Street. Police indicate that over 10,000 dollars in money and jewelry was stolen.

Local Police have no suspects at this time and are seeking help from local citizens for any leads.

Reading this news article brought a smile to Joshua's face. Plan 2 had gone off better than he had hoped, but that was just a preview of what was to come for good ol' Charlie
