Green band trailer. A little more idea of the story, but a lot less of the funny.

I generally only go to movies on Tuesday when they are $5 all day, which is why it takes me a while to see some movies.

If for some reason you didn't watch Flash Gordon growing up, it may help to see it before you watch TED.

There are a ton of pop humor elements in it. It kind of splits the joke references between the 80s and modern day.

We have nothing like that around here. Matinees are anything starting before 4 pm (!) and cost $8, after 4pm you pay full price and that is $11! I can get discount passes through my company for $6.50 each but passes are usually restricted for the first two to three weeks. In some cases by the time the passes are accepted the movie is down to only a couple of showings a day. As a result I tend to go after work and pay $11 since that is cheaper than the cost of an $8 matinee plus gas to get to the theater and home on a weekend (I drive right by the movie theater to/from work), and to compensate for the higher ticket cost to me I just see fewer movies. I basically only go see spectacle films now, anything else will do just fine on my 46"

TV at home.
