Singularity
Totentanz and Pursuer were both active at this point too.
Ashnod
Was Randall Portman a Utopian? I'm not aware of any reference to that.

No, it's a mistake on my side... Sorry! I thought I read somewhere that the Fireman was among the first recruits of PU. Couldn't find it in the core book, nor in A:PU, though. David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
The Fireman was recruited, but not successfully (to my knowledge).Mungu Kuwasha should be in Politics (ruler of a country), if I'm thinking of the right guy.Vladimir Sierka should be in business (elite), or just an elite. He didn't go into politics until he tried to take over part of Russia.I think you should add our favorite Song Bird, Ajexandra. You might also add Geisha, but I'm not sure when she erupted. David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Oh, and Andy Ironskin and Divis Mal.
Ashnod
Mungu Kuwasha is a techie. The Null Manifesto wasn't released until 05, and Divis was fairly unknown until then.
Speed
Portman and a host of others were (it is my understanding) loosely affiliated with PU without any direct job within the Project. He trained with them for two years "on and off", and you can bet that he can have a job with them anytime he wants one.
Ashnod
He was never employed in any official capacity with them, as far as i can tell. He wasn't a Utopian in any true sense. His interview in the core book indicates he was one of the people the AEON Society contacted upon N-Day, but only in a research (on Novas) and training (use of powers) capacity. Speed
But don't those people maintain a sort of loose affiliation, or at least sanction, from the Project?"Aeon tested, Utopia approved!"
Ashnod
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Caldorian
Mungu Kuwasha was the first nova employee of Microsoft. Divis Mal was completely unknown until the Null Manifesto. Vladimir Sierka is Minister of the Treasury of the RusCon. ________T2M- Caestus Pax- Psyche- Lightning- Ricardo Montoya-Bernal- Pratima Basham- Apollo Kid- Griffin Armstrong- Ragnarockette- Slag- Slider- Shadow Artist- Saxon- Geisha...Project Utopia- AntaeusBusiness- Anibál Buendia- Anna DeVries- Mungu Kuwasha- Engineer Ardis "Artifex" LongleyPolitics- Vladimir SierkaEntertainment / Yellow Press- Alejandra- Ironskin- The Fireman- Christopher Andrew Gaal (first nova filmmaker)Elite- Totentanz- PursuerWhat about Count Orzaiz? How famous is he before his connections to Teragen are reveiled? What about Enriche Meludos? The Avatar? Kikjak? How famous are they outside of their respective cities?
David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Kikjak is famous because he works at keeping himself in the popular media. Orzaiz might be a name... but I would say "no". I don't know who Enriche Meludos is. The Avatar was a later thing (I don't think he erupted until later). He was with Coma before he erupted and coma wasn't real big then.Add to this list that taint=9 bozo who is the ruler of an African country (he has a box in AB:Elites). In 2004 he should still be making public appearences (i.e. taint no where near 9).Another famous nova is Gaberial(?) Melicore(?) the biomanipulator from WWI. I think he had erupted by 2004 and was still free, which would make him a cult leader.Another T2M member would be "Pele" (assuming I'm spelling it right. He and Pax were hurt by Pursuer during the that war).
BlackStar
Don´t forget the XVF champion Duke "Core" Baron. But I´m not so sure about Stone "Badass". Oh, and sorry doc but the name is Gabriel Melchior.
Ghostwriter
Pele's a she. I believe Raoul Orzaiz was a nova at this point, because from what I picked up from conversations and posts, he was at the pre-Manifesto Teragen roundtable, which was somewhere between 2001-2003, and he is famous for refusing to go to a Rashoud facility for training. Rorschach
Samhra is right! Orzaiz probably erupted in 1999, maybe2000 and was VERY popular even before. His eruption was heavily covered by media and his choice regarding Utopia made much noise.
Gypsy
And what about Miss DeVries?
Rorschach
Anna DeVries waas also very famous: with Pursuer she successfully handled problems with terrorists menacing DeBeers interests in Namibia, in 1999 (the reason why DVA's offices are located here...) Rorschach
... But she was already included... Sorry. But you can add John Argyle, CEO of the newly-founded Argus Agency.Argyle is a precog appearing in ELITES.In the same category : The Mathematician. He's not VERY famous but characters involved in new techs or business should know him.
Al
You may want to look at the Aberrant group: Corbin, Rousseau, Dr. Worm, "The Living Wreck", and Kimberly Dane all had high profile lives prior to Sliders murder and the formation of the Aberrants.
