Robin Hood Review

So without giving away details, or as much as possible, here's my take on the movie.

PROS: Solid good acting, interesting plot, new take on the legend as the emphasis is not on the Lincoln Green until the end. Instead, the enemy is the French, not John although he is as bad as ever. The villain representing the French is chilling (in a good way), and in general I think this is an A-grade movie.

CONS: Marian's appearing in the final battle is certainly far-fetched. There is an error is the opening images setting the stage, says 12th century England at what is historically the turn of the 13th century. But these are minor and do not detract much.

All in all, 4 stars. Certainly worth watching.
