The Pendant of Tipishkau-pishum

This simple pendant bears a small moonstone (about the size of a thumbnail) on a carved wooden setting. Also in the setting are two red jaspers (about the size of a pencil eraser). It's tied by a simple strand of leather

This pendant seems to work best on women. The moonstone opens the female psyche up to the influence of spirits while the jaspers summon spirits of conflict and aggression.

System - Whoever wears the Pendant of Tipishkau-pishum is forced to shift to Gauru and immediately flies into the dreaded Kuruth. This happens whenever they attempt to change forms, regardless of the form they were trying to take. As long as the werewolf remains in Hishu, they are free of the pendant's effects (an impossible task, since eventually all have to shape-shift).

The Uratha gains all the benefits of the Kuruth as well as the drawbacks. The pendant melds with the Gauru shape making removing it impossible unless the wearer is Hishu (where the pendant appears normal).

The Kuruth may last anywhere from 1-10 hours and while in this state the werewolf is a bloodthirsty rampaging monster hell bent on crushing everything in its path. When the rage subsides, the wearer is plagued with nightmares and visions of the havoc and pain they've wrought while under the pendant's effects.

If worn by a female the Pendant of Tipishkau-pishum bestows one other benefit: the woman may freely make use of any gifts she posseses, even if they are not permitted for use while in Kuruth.

The owner will protect the Pendant of Tipishkau-pishum with their life and refuse to accept any excuse that it's in any way a cursed piece of jewelry. For the wearer to remove it willingly, they must succeed in a Willpower roll with a difficulty of 4. This difficulty increases by +1 for every cycle of the owner's moon that passes while they wear it. Eventually, the Pendant of Tipishkau-pishum must be removed by force.

The Sire's Finger Bone

(Vampire Relic ●●●)

This pendant is a thick silver rope chain from which the bone of ancient vampire's finger is said to hang. All three bones are present and connected by thin silver wire. Whenever a vampire wears the the pendant she receives a heighten resistance to Frenzy, lowering the needed successes to shake frenzy off completely by two, to a minimum of two. So a vampire seeing a loved one in danger, normally requiring five successes to shake the frenzy completely, would only require three successes. A vampire whose car is scratched, normally requiring two successes, still only requires two successes however.

In order to work, the pendant must be making skin contact with the wearer. Only vampires may benefit from the pendant's ability.
