Bernd and Barbara Kindler had been in love ever since they met in high school. Their lives were unspectacular and very common. They went to University, moved to share one apartment graduated and got married. Short after that Sascha was born. Everything seemed to be perfect until one fateful day. Sascha started to behave strange and the things happening around her where even stranger. Soon they couldn’t handle the complications their daughter caused. Years of treatment followed and more disappointment followed.

Mrs. Kindler checked the room of her daughter. She always did before they went to sleep. She had left it exactly as it was, when they had to give her daughter away. She sighed and wondered if Sascha was making any progress. The Doctors told the Kindlers that they would keep them up to date on Sascha’s progress every 3 months. Mrs. Kindler wiped a tear away, she was slowly losing hope that Sascha would come back one day and be normal girl. She switched of the light and went to join her husband in bed.

Downstairs the fireplace in the chimney was slowly dying when it suddenly flared back to live and Fahrenheit appeared in the room. With a wink of her hand she doused the flames until the fire was dead. She walked through the living room and took in all the details. There were pictures of Sascha’s parents. Some of it with Sascha when she was a little girl. Fahrenheit smiled and went the stairs up slowly changing back to Sascha until she was completely gone once she got upstairs.

Sascha looked around, confused and scared. She had just been on board a jet and now she found herself in a house? Then it dawned on her, she was home! She went into her room and opened the door. Everything was just the way she remembered. It was just like when she was 12. She felt to her knees and started crying when the door suddenly opened.

Sascha’s Father stood in the door his wife just right behind him. For a second he wanted to scream at the intruder but his voice failed him when he recognised her. “Sascha? Sascha?!”. Her Father dropped the heavy flashlight he had planned to use as a weapon in case there was really an intruder. He had never imagined he could find his daughter instead.

The reunited family hugged each other in overwhelming joy.

Enjoy this as long as you can Sascha, it'll be the last time you see them

Sascha almost froze when she heard Fahrenheit’s voice echoing through her mind. Panicked she looked around releasing from the embrace of her parents. A sense of impeding danger crept up her spine and she stared at her parents.

“What is going on, Sascha? Doctor Silbermann called us and told us he had to transfer you to a different facility. Short after that someone from an Aeon Society called.”

Sascha slowly realized what was going on. Fahrenheit was up to something and her gut feeling made her almost throw up. “Mom, Dad – I don’t have much time. You are in danger, trust me. Get your stuff and run, please…”, her voice was trailing of and blackness surrounded her as the familiar confinement of her mind shut her off from the world around her.

Sascha’s parents looked confused at each other not realizing how her daughter slowly transformed. Beads of sweat appeared on Sascha’s father forehead and he started to pant from the lack of oxygen. Sascha’s mother stumbled and fell unconsciously to the floor as she saw how her daughter changed into a devil of living fire.

Fahrenheit opened her eyes and stared at Sascha’s incredulous face before a voiceless scream froze his visage to a distorted mask of terror. Almost instantly his body crumbled in ashes to the floor leaving nothing but dust of his former existence. The same fate met his wife who blissful lay unconsciously on the floor. Fahrenheit watched the body of Sascha’s mother crumble under the intense heat she radiated. ”Fare well, you never deserved her mercy.”

The house slowly caught fire and the alarms went off. Fahrenheit would’ve waited until everything was burned to the ground but then she had to face the firefighters and possible “heroes” who tried to safe someone from the burning inferno she had caused and she didn’t have time to play. She closed her eyes and made contact with the glimmering fire of the cigarette aboard the Mathematicians jet and disappeared.
