Giving credit where credit is due:

The following is largely a <strike>plaguuei, Plaeurism, </strike>a copy of a code of ethics followed by the Paramander. The Paramander is the name of the "True Neutral" Paladin of the D&D era. I, being a big supporter of codes of ethics and honor saw that this was for the most part great alrady, only slightly modified some of the wording to fit into my epic.

The following is the code that Kenton was taught directly by Khay, the Balance Primal and member of the tribunal with Khamylyon (Light, Order) and Khayn (Darkness, Chaos). The 'Lord Lonn' referrenced therein is Asche and was worded such for The Company (aka, Pax Concordat). To get a feel for the ultimate source of the code simply remove te referrrences ot Lord Lonn and replace it with Lord Khay. The first Prantic Knight was Lord Khay himself.

The Neutral Prantic Knight's name means "Soldier teaching the world," an allusion to the position of Lord Lonn after he subjugated and balanced the part of the galaxy where the Noble house called home. A Prantic Knight seeks to maintain that balance, often by manipulating (and, when necessary, destroying) high-powered beings of deep Alliance convictions to any Sphere or by aiding weak opponents of those beings. Any deed of outright good, evil, law, or chaos without a previously determined balancing effect on the world's structure will cause him to become forevermore a normal Knight with no karmic ties. The Prantic Knight must justify every action in the interests of virtually, pure neutrality.

Prantic Knights favor subdued design in armor and weapons. Armor, though unrestricted, is usually light or for utility and, like Prantic Knights' shields, bears little or no decoration. Prantic Knights favor whichever transportation will involve the least time commitment; i.e. will buy and maintain a fast, lightly defended transport opposed to a armed transport. Weapons tend toward simplicity (melee.) and away from missile types.

The way of the Prantic Knight is sometimes quite a lonely one. One following these ways may find his closest friends immediately becoming his direst enemies due to a Prantic oath or some other form of imbalance. The Prantic Knights were formed from the Original Knights of Lonn in the days of Old Anelon and have had very powerful implications and uses up to current day. In the original order of Paramander, from which, the Lonnic Knights were devised, there were only Nine Knights, which in turn served as representatives for each of the Nine Spheres of Alliance. In implementing his own order, Lord Lonn deemed it necessary to train others from various backgrounds to form more varied opinions inside the Lonnic Order. Odd numbers being the only way to avoid standoffs or even votes, the Order will train a total of Twenty-seven beings to hold positions in the corresponding Spheres as Lord Knights. All knights of the Lonnic Order are required intense training and practice in all of the Nine Spheres within their first five years of service and only then are members allowed to 'muster' out of the Order. Any Knight who leaves before this time is marked and will be slain before they can misalign reality with their uneven thinking; This is a priority to all Prantic Knights and Lord Lonn himself has been known to enter into battle in this occasion.

All Knights of Lord Lonn are required to follow all of the following strictures to the word and may not interpret them by any other means save the reasoning and clarity given to them via their Prantic Standards. Any straying from these precepts will result in de-ranking and re-initiating of the Knight in question and the given assignment will be handled in the most direct and non-discretional means. Minor infractions will result in disfavor and the receiving on non-rewards, or removal of karmic gifts.

The Paramandyr

Because the Prantic Knights are so closely modeled from the Paramanders, they occasionally suffer a visit from the same phenomena that strikes their cousins. A rare and horrible creature, the Paramandyr is an insane cousin to the Prantic Knight, a mobile and fatally intelligent death dealer. The two are identical in every way but one: the Prantic Knight strives to create balance by molding the powerful forces of aligned convictions, whereas the Paramandyr strives to destroy these forces, believing that in oblivion there is perfect balance. The Paramandyr leaves a sigil on his victims, a unique sign that identifies the death's origin.

This disease only seems to strike the Prantic Knight who strays from any of the decrees and is resentful of punishment; No known Paramandyrs have yet been formed out of the stock of Prantic knights. Lord Lonn has mentioned that as long as the Paramandyr kept to the bigger picture of the Lonnic Decree, there would be no expulsion of the victim and he would be allowed to continue in his ways. <!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->
