Loki Posted April 13, 2007 Share Posted April 13, 2007 If you roll Invisibility, get lets say 8 successes, then roll stealth and get 5 sucesses, do you add the two do determine how hard it is for someone to find you? Visual invisibility might work against sight, but if they're making as much noise as a bull in a china shop, that would be aurally obvious and might help to negate the visual invisibility.So Invis would work for the affected sense, the stealth roll would work for whatever other senses might be involved in detecting the nova as appropriate... Though the invisibility would make it [much] harder to actually detect the Nova's location if they weren't stealthy enough to remain unnoticed. At least, to me. Primal Posted April 13, 2007 Share Posted April 13, 2007 That's how I've always done it.The real benefit to visual invisibility is that even after your are noticed (if yo uare noticed) they usually take blind fighting penalties.
