This thread is to keep track of current plots ongoing in WS.  These can be the over-arching plots, such as the mysteries around Shelly and confronting the latest Big Bad, or they can be personal / interpersonal plot points.

The other purpose is to keep tabs on who is doing what, so we as players OOCly know which characters are supposed to be dealing with a given plot point and to help me as ST assign tasking rolls to those that need them.

If you need something changing or adding to the current post, please DM me on Discord.  Let's keep it tidy.

As of the end of Episode VI Intermission: Fallout.  These are the current points needing tending / resolving.

Major Plot Threads

1. Enterich.  'Mister Enterich' is proving to be more than a mere background mover and shaker.  Two members of the Fellowship have now been manipulated directly by him, leading to distrust and discord between the team when perhaps they need cohesion the most.  In addition he is definitely connected with local bigwigs, such as Lucius Cole, who in turn has connections all the way up to the governor of Montana.  Autumn has further learned that Enterich's direct interest in the teens followed their raid on Crossroads underground experimentation lab at Site C - Marshal Dale revealed that her boss got a phone call and started making plans to apply pressure to Marissa following that incident.  It seems, then that Enterich is closely connected with whoever the people are behind Crossroads, and Professor Klein.  Coyote has also revealed that Enterich is some manner of ancient Dark entity called a cythrawl, capable of feeding on and utilising the fear of others against them.
Status:  Underway.  Enterich has successfully sown division and suspicion in the Fellowship by applying stress to existing fracture lines.  Dealing with a mixture of internal strife and myriad other demands on their time, the Fellowship have yet to effectively work on  researching or counter-attacking him.

2.  Site B.  Professor Klein is dug into a fortified mountain bunker with cutting edge weaponry, a small army of mercenaries, various brainwashed experiments including Cassie's dad and quite probably an entire alien spacecraft of unknown power and knowledge.  And that's just the stuff the teens know about.  It's also pretty certain that he's not going to be content to stay there, that he regards the mysterious powers of the Fellowship as his to study and exploit.  Let's face it - sooner or later it's going to come down to a fight.  But will it be on Klein's terms or the teens?
Status:  Underway.  The Project don't have the manpower or the tech to take on Klein's super-science equipped forces unaided.  They need the Fellowship - and by the same token the kids are going to need each other to be at their most effective.  Right now, divided and fractious as they are, the teens are a relatively minor threat to Klein's operations.

Personal Sub-plots

3.  The Library of Shadows (Marissa). What is the Library of Shadows?   According to Enterich - who, lets be real, is the lyingest of lying liars - it is a storehouse of knowledge about the 'Hidden World', whatever THAT means, kept by the Aeon Society for the sole perusal of their inner council members.  Still, if it exists and if it's what he claims, there could be all sorts of interesting and useful information locked away in - well, wherever it is.  The true formula for ketchup, maybe?  Or the truth about JFK?  What were the Nazis up to in WW2?  In any case, Marissa's curiousity has been piqued.
Status:  Underway.  Marissa has mentioned the Library in passing to others, but no action has yet been taken to uncover the truth of it's existence.

4.  Bring Me Photos of Devin Jauntsen! (Cassie)  Being an ace reporter for the school paper is hard, especially when Leila Cross is your editor.  And doubly so when you have the juiciest of juicy stories featuring monsters, gods, superpowers and abs to tell - but aren't sure how much if anything to reveal!  And worse, Leila KNOWS you know something - the girl is like a bloodhound for guilty secrets.  Two days.  That's how long you've got before she starts kicking over rocks herself - and maybe getting her face eaten in the process if she's not forewarned.
Status:  Underway.  Two days, Allen!  Or you're fired!  *thumps desk in a J. Jonah fashion*

6. Family Strife (Cade).  All is not well in the Alister household.  Miyako, already suspicious that her husband was having an affair, has found out that Sheriff Alister and her son, Cade have been keeping secrets all along regarding what is really going on in Shelly.  Sure, they had reasons.  Sure, they were trying to keep her and Haruka safe.  That doesn't make it sting less.  To further complicate matters, Haruka is fascinated by the glamor and strange powers of the older teenagers.  Her brother and his friends saved the world!  It's such a cool secret!  Too cool not to share, perhaps.  Serious Knives Chau vibes coming up...
Status:  Underway.  Ian Alister is sleeping on the couch, Cade is getting the stony treatment from Miyako while she processes her hurt feelings.  And Haruka?  We shall see...

7. Borrowed Time (Sean).  Sean Cassidy is dying.  According to Doctor Cook, the unique cocktail of genetic quirks that combine in the young intersex are going to start causing breakdowns in his organs and nervous system before long.  There are treatments to prolong the process of dying, but fundamentally his life is going be dramatically naturally shorter.  Cook has predicted perhaps a few more years of life, maybe... and they won't be comfortable ones.  In Cook's opinion, only one hope exists - Site B.  The alien technology there might provide Sean with a fighting chance to untangle the genetic mishaps that will lead to his death.  It's a slim hope, to be sure, but better than no hope.
Status:  Underway.  Sean has so far told Laurie and Jason of his impending demise, and is counting down the moments to when the teens will take on Site B.  So far, no negative symptoms have manifested in the young electrokinetic, but it's only a matter of time.

8. Coup D'Etat (Various).  The age of the Jauntsens is over! The time of the Chet has come!  Or... something like that, anyway - Chet is still working out the details of his rallying slogan.  What he's more definite about is that it's time for a change in the pecking order at Shelly High.  The Jauntsens have lost their grip on the crown, distracted by who-knows-what and hanging around with weirdos, freaks and nerds.  The rightful football aristocracy needs to reassert itself now.  With Lilly Pryor stepping down from quarterback and Cade new and untested in the role, there is everything to play for.  Soon, Chet boasts to his crew, the Jauntsens will learn their place.  Jason Bannon will be paying tribute in weed and Addies.  Sean Cassidy will be adjusting their grades. It's going to be sunshine, glory and blowjobs all round.   It must be stressed:  Chet is not 'Evil'.  He's not Dark-influenced, or possessed: any psion with Attunement can tell that.  He's a bully with an overblown opinion of his own worth.  He carries a grudge against both the Jauntsen Twins (Marissa for dumping his ass, Devin for beating his ass), and against Bannon (for menacing him into fleeing with damp shorts at the fair).  He resents Lilly and Cade for outstripping him athletically.  Sean is a freak and makes his skin crawl.  The other teens in the Fellowship are largely nonentities to Chet, at least currently.
Status:  Underway.  Chet is little more than a thug with some athletic talent and a spark of ambition.   His ability to do harm is largely limited to physical threats and social peer-pressure from others in his circle.  If he's lucky, he'll make it to college on a football ride.  If he's unlucky, he'll get his stupid ass expelled before Prom.

9. Stranger In A Strange Land (Various).  Ellie the Alien is currently a houseguest of Project Proteus in their underground complex, but that's not going to last forever.  The Teulu girl is young, curious and despite a certain level of courtesy won't suffer being cooped up much longer.  After all, she's got a mate to attract, and she can hardly do that when she barely gets to see Devin.  Shenanigans shall ensue!  Perhaps she will be attending Shelly High as a 'foreign exchange student', just to get an idea of the culture of human teenagers.  I'm sure that'll be fine.  Probably.  Plenty of questions have already been raised by the young alien, and her similarity in mannerism to Jason Bannon has been noted - by Cassie, as one example.  Will the teens of the Fellowship be as curious about her culture as she is about theirs?  Will Jase learn more of the ways of his people from her?  Is Devin's Homecoming Date going to have a nasty tragic accident whilst combing her hair?  Stay tuned!
Status:  Underway.

10.  Sciencing the Sciences(Various).  There is a lot of research to be done.  The teens need to be properly evaluated and studied by the Project - all with their cooperation and the cooperation of their parents, of course.  Genetics need to be looked at.  The strange energy they wield needs to be quantified.  What is the Void, really?  How does Radiance work?  What really is Corruption/Darkness?  Why can't Marissa cook?  These and other questions will be baffling the finest minds the Project can muster.  Even with the cooperation and intellect of several of the Fellowship assisting in the endeavour, unravelling this new frontier of science will take time and patience.  (At least, the Radiance stuff.  There may never be an answer for Marissa's culinary ability).
Status: Underway.
