jamat
I want to make a character who has teleport and warp powers but want to restrict him to only being able to teleport / open portals through mirrors or glass. Is there anyway of representing this in game terms and would a restriction like this reduce the cost of the powers?Any help would be much appreciated.RegardsJamat
The White Rat
You can take the Warp power and add a target restriction: weakness which stipulates that portals can only be opened on reflective surfaces, or mirrors. Since the surface chosen is very specific, I would say it is a four or five point weakness. For more on strengths and weaknesses, go to p.141 and read the section called: The Mark of Customization in the Aberrant Players Guide.
Singularity
There is a power called Transmit (along with its power-specific extra of Incontiguous) from the Project Utopia book that would be a pretty tight fit to what you've described.
