ronin Posted July 24, 2003 Share Posted July 24, 2003 In case I wasn't certain I was going to Hell already, I decided to book a reservation.My latest opus is a game of Adventure! set in late 1939 (that's World War II for you young turks) with Germany as the backdrop. However, instead of the player character's being embittered patriots of the Allies fighting and sacrificing to stem the surging tide of Fascism, the protagonists (villains?) of this tale are all members of the Nazi Germany equivalent of FoxHOUND; an elite group of soldiers and specialists hand-picked by the Fuhrer himself to carry out special missions for the good of the reich and the Aryan race. This motley crew of the insidious and malevolent include:Beowulf von Kassel, 'The Grendel'Hero of World War I, Beowulf was awarded dozens of military honors for his dutiful service for the Prussian forces. A decorated veteran, he was brought back in for the war effort by Hitler himself to take a promiment place inside the Waffen. An accomplished academic, occultist without peer and a brilliant military tactician, it is rumored that Beowulf cannot be hurt by bullets and has been known to regrow limbs. Due to his fearsome demeanor on the battlefield and his monstrous nature, his subordinates whisper the name 'Grendel' behind his back as a parody of his noble name and heritage.And more to follow..Seph Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
