History:

Jierumi has always been a bit of a loner, interesting despite the fact that his pretty and bubbly freshman sister is the person that everyone adores and has way too much energy. His mother Taiyo is a beloved nurse at the Karakura Hospital, always there for everyone. His father? Well, one night with Taiyo and gone... nobody in the family really knew who he was.

Those who meet him can tell he's mildly cute and kindly, though he simply prefers to be by himself. He gets his work done well enough, and most think him simply an introverted senior. It would be a shock to learn what he knows about and does at night.

Not So Public History:

A year ago, his Reirykoku began igniting over the course of a few weeks, first when he realized that he could see ghosts, then one spring night on a lone walk in a park... worse things, one of which came for him. In a mix of shock and desperation, Jierumi's hand ignited a blast of dark fire which tore through the Hollow's mask. In the aftermath, and days after, he came to the conclusion that evil things lurked in this world that others couldn't see.

So he had to protect them from which it seemed, no one else knew about. Over most of the last several months, he has become a secretive Hollow hunter, though he never neglected his normal responsibilities. His personal mission has only been intensified by the fact that his darling sister Hanabira is now a freshman at Karakura High School, meaning the price for failure is yet more intolerable.
