“…[Cobalt Blue] very deadly. Some say that she wasn’t born to Alexia Kronkoff, but to a small peasant family who owed Kronkoff money. He killed them, and took her [Haplopelma] when she was born…”

We know this to be true, mostly. Kronkoff did this with several people. After his death, it was found that Kronkoff could not have children, so he would steal the children of others. What more than likely happened was that Haplopelmas’ parents had nothing to do with Kronkoff. He just decided to take her, and kill them.

“…During the nineties, she was Boss Kronkoff’s own daughter, and no one dared to doubt it. Even Kronkoff’s highest goons addressed Lividum as Kronkoffs own daughter. Of course she wasn’t called Lividum back then. Back before her eruption, she was known as Tasha Kronkoff. I remember a guy, Lenich, who once tried to mark her as his own when she was eight. Accounts go as he found her alone in a room, and a second later Kronkoff himself walked in once he saw Lenich go in. Thirty seconds or so later, Kronkoff was toting Lenich out of the room by his feet, and Lenich was struggling with all his life. Lividum emerged from the room with her shirt half ripped off, and crying. Lenich still hasn’t been recovered. I heard one of Kronkoffs goons say they delivered him to the Siberian desert, but no one can be sure.”

This is suspicious. We know that Kronkoff would never do any dirty work himself, except in his life or death situations. What would have likely happened was that someone else went into the room and did the work. It is also out of character for Kronkoff to care so much for one of his adoptions. Most were sold into slavery while they were still young. If they were kept around, they were used in prostitution among his own men. No attempt to find Lenich has been made. Siberia is much, much too large.

“…When she was ten, I was charged with watching after her. This was 2004, I believe. We (Kronkoff, Lividum, and several others) were moving through the Yekaterinburg area, and stopped for the night. I was charged with sleeping in the same room as Lividum, and it was the most terrifying night of my life. She doesn’t sleep. She stayed up, sitting on her bed, ever watching me. Those eyes so cold. She always appeared so full of joy, until I was alone with her. The next day I told Kronkoff that I would no longer do it, and he understood. Maybe that sort of thing was common…”

Aside from creepy, there is plenty wrong with this. We know that Vladimir Josef often took part in the prostitution rings that Kronkoff used. We know that Vladimir was indentured to Kronkoff upon Kronkoff’s death. Why Kronkoff would use Josef to protect his beloved child is beyond me. It is obvious that more went down than this.

“…And it happened in 2013. I was not around when she did, but I did see her two days later. The entire fiasco was caught on surveillance Apparently someone had tried to put a hit on Kronkoff, and only Lividum was around. A gunfight had broken out back at the base; I was home when it happened. Kronkoff and Lividum were escorted to the safe room, while three of his four main bodyguards ran off. By this time, Lividum was growing up. Her body was filling out incredibly well, and Kronkoff always made sure that she was healthy and in shape. Often us guys would joke about longing for her touch, but it was obvious that each and every one of us wasn’t joking. She was the most beautiful girl we had seen in person. And untouched by a man too. We never let Kronkoff know it though. Anyway, the bodyguard turned to Kronkoff and said a few words, and than pointed to Lividum. She looked terrified, and Kronkoff was about to flip out on the guard when two more of them came into the room, each wielding handguns. Kronkoff yelled a few words, pointing at the devious guard, but the others didn’t respond how he had expected. The tallest amongst them shot Kronkoff in the kneecap, and he fell to the ground. Lividum fell backwards and onto the ground. She started to crawl backwards until she hit the wall. The guards started toward her and she closed her eyes. Something about her skin changed then, and the guards stopped. One guard moved towards her, obviously laughing. He went to touch her, and landed a flailing kick into his chest. His entire body rose into the air... "

This would indicate time of eruption, and it being caught on video. The acquisition of this video is currently our highest priority. Josef does not indicate what happened with the video. Another issue with this story is the idea of three of Kronkoff’s must trusted turning on him just for Ms. Lividum. It’s irrational. However, we have no opposing evidence, another reason to acquire the video. The injuries the guard sustained at this point would indicate super strengh, and the tone change would indicate that the video is black and white. A black and white security camera, Kronkoff must have been a cheap guy.

"..and into his cohorts. They started to look around the room, and something was obviously happening. The video stopped there.”

This would not explain what was happening in the video. We can assume, with the knowledge we have gained from Mr. Blight, that this was her sand powers manifesting. There was no indication what happened with the guards.

“When I was permitted to see Kronkoff the next day, she was not to be seen. I asked him about it, and he refused to even say her name. He started calling her “Haplopelma Lividum” for some strange reason, and I am not sure what it means to this day. The next day when I went into the lunchroom, there she was. Her skin was a cobalt blue color, and hair a darker blue grey than her skin. There was no one else in the room, so I grabbed a coke and sat down across from her. I will remember this moment for the rest of my life. I sat down, and in front of her was a slab of meat, along with some vegetables. She was looking up at the ceiling until I sat down. She looked at me, and she was so sad. “He won’t even let me see him. What the hell is wrong with me? What the hell am I?”. I couldn’t believe it, I was the first person to speak to her since the accident.”

Why would Mr. Josef attempt to speak to her when no one else would? Why would Kronkoff even keep Lividum around if he refused to speak to her, or even see her? Perhaps he knew that she might protect him. Or maybe something else.

“It was over the next few weeks that we became close. I was the only one who would speak to her, and a lot of people shunned me for it. Half of my friends refused to speak to me, and my wife became unpleasant. It was worth it though, giving her a friend. She was still just a nineteen-year-old girl. I taught her English the best I could, amongst anything else that she bothered to learn. She showed be her magnificent powers as a nova, however terrified of them she was. Often times came when she had absolutely no control over them, and it was horrible to see. I almost died several times during her exercises, but she was always completely apologetic. I learned why she hated people so much, a secret she told me never to speak to anyone. I never will, either. A year later, Kronkoff wouldn’t even have her in her audience still. She didn’t take it so hard anymore. She was slowly becoming his best agent. He would never hear it though. Even with her alienation, she would still give her life for the boss. It was heartbreaking to see.”

Given that Josef would throw everything away just to be friends, and possibly more, with this Nova, why would she trust him? She never grew cold of Kronkoff? We suspect that there is more, much more to his story. We received no indication that he was lying, so it was more likely that he was leaving out truths.

“Two months later, the boss died quietly in his sleep. He never spoke a word to Lividum before he died. When everyone scattered, she was lost. She had completely memorized Divis Mals Null Manifesto, and often quoted it whenever she could. When the new boss took over, she fled to America. Rumor has it that she found her way to a Rashoud Clinic, but didn’t stay there long. She then found her way onto the Teragen. It was foreseeable. She watched Mal with longing whenever we watched television together. Once a month, I receive a letter from her. She never fails. I don’t think she lets anyone in the Teragen know, though. Promise me you wont put that in the report? … Good.”

This ended Josefs interview. He was released after it was over, but observation of him still remains. We know that Kronkoff did not die quietly in his sleep. He was found with several broken ribs. There was no indication that anything else was wrong with the scene, and no indicated sand found. Her memorization of the Null Manifesto is nothing out of the ordinary, but this does make us weary. We know that she is currently in affiliation with the Terat, but there are more important and dangerous members of the Terat than her. Her escaping the new boss would be easy enough with her abilities, and I doubt he would put the muscle on her, knowing that she is a nova. We also know that she didn’t go straight to California. She went to the Miami Rashoud Clinic. We know that during this time she managed to gain contact with several members of the Teragen who helped her ‘leave’ the clinic. As for her writing letters, that is unlikely. We have intercepted Josef’s mail for months now, and have received nothing of the like. Her public views of baselines make it more unlikely that this connection would exist.
