A Re-Evaluation of the Relationship Between Psi and Taint in Noetic Theory

If I did, I would doubtlessly be dead as I write this. However, I am not, possibly because I am not considered to be worth the effort. I have spent twelve years avoiding other Psions (an innacurate but widely understood term, and therefore the one I shall use) and continuing the work of the Chtra Bhanu, studying the relations between Psi and that force we mistakenly call 'taint.' It would be better to revive that 21st Century term 'Quanta' when discussing taint. Taint is not the energy Aberrants manipulate, it is rather the side effects of abusing that power.

Let me explain more directly; it was my direct experience with the Chtra Bhanu and their Quantakinetic abilities that led me to this understanding. A psi like myself or a Quantakinetic uses the energies of the Subquantum Universe to manipulate physical reality. Make no mistake; all of us, from the most circumspect Ministry agent to the most mystical ISRAn, is affecting the physical world with Subquantum energies. It is merely the curse of the Quantakinetic to be doing so in a manner that most directly resembles the direct Quantum powers of the Aberrants. A psi draws Psion particles up from the 5th Dimensional Subquantum realm and converts them to various energies or uses them directly.

How, therefore, does taint enter into this equation? Well, in order to explain that it's neccessary to explain exactly how an Aberrant's powers work. An Aberrant, by virtue of the Mazarin-Rashoud node inside its skull, can directly and instantly manipulate the four quantum forces that make up our universe (Gravitation attraction, Strong and Weak nuclear forces, and Electromagnetic energy) by a mechanism that has long been shrouded from us. I believe this is because we have been looking in the wrong place. We have always assumed that this mysterious 'taint' is at work, a diabolic and twisted radiation that defies noetic science and negates the ever-present psionic particles that make up the subquantum nature of reality.

This is, to put it mildly, insane and stupid. Taint, as we understand it, does not exist. Instead, what happens is as follows; when an Aberrant uses its M-R Node to manipulate 'Quanta' it does so by means of the Quantum Mechanic known as Synchronicity. This is a mechanic that has long been understood by science, which leads me to wonder why it has never been considered as the source of the Aberrant's power before. In laboratory experiments at the end of the 20th Century, it was demonstrated that by affecting a photon shielded in one portion of the lab, it was possible to affect other photons that were in no way near the original test photon. This was attributed to the wave nature of photons...at least until the process was replicated mathematically with other sub-atomic particles. Electrons, Protons and even other particles are capable of faster than light communication, theoretically at any distance. Across a lab, across a city...perhaps even across the universe. How, you may ask, do two seperate sub-atomic particles communiate with each other instantaneously across such vast distantces? (We now know this is happening... the Aberrant ability to warp space and instantly travel interstellar distances is proof.) The answer is simple, and it is based in two facets of Noetic Theory.

Facet one is the Quantakinetic ability to draw psion particles from Subquantum Space and manipulate the four Quantum forces, as previously indicated. Facet two is the Upeo Wa Macho, and their ability to translate their physical structure through Noetic Space and back out into physical reality, bypassing relativistic travel entirely and matching the Aberrant Warp ability. This ability proves that while psions can affect the Quantum Universe with Subquantum Particles, the inverse is possibly true; Quantum particles can exist and affect the Subquantum, in an asymetrical relationship as Quantum Mechanics would indicate.

This is the secret of taint. When an Aberrant uses his Mazarin-Rashoud Node to manipulate Quantum Forces, he does so faster than the speed of light, utilizing the instantaneous communication first noticed by theoreticians in the pre-Aberrant past. How does this instantaneous communication function? By utilizing Noetic Space.

In other words, the process is inverted. Aberrants force Quantum Energies to flow through Noetic Space, while Psions draw Noetic Energy up into Quantum Space...where we live. This explains the tendency of the two forces to oppose each other; each is antithetical to the entire physics of the other. Psion particles are the underpinning of an entire order of space we as yet do not understand fully; Quantum particles are the very foundation of our stable, physical reality. Therefore, a conflict between the two is inherently disruptive, and it is that conflict which causes what we call 'taint.' The process of forcing Quantum energies through the physical body in opposition to the Psionic energy that ultimately sustains our existance has to be balanced with care, because as Quantum Physics tells us no relation between energies can be asymetrical, and this one so easily can be. That conflict, especially when not properly maintained, leads to corruption, to mutation, to insanity and to what we call 'taint.' These are not inevitable consequences, however... properly maintained, the use of Quantum energies does not have to lead there, and it has the advantage of being more readily part of this order of reality, which is why Quantakinesis never achieved the kind of power an Aberrant could command.

I do not know what will come of this writing; doubtlessly, no good will come of it. I'm sure, now that I've managed to dump it onto the Op-Net here on Earth, I will be tracked down and killed. The only solace I take from this is that I know I am right. Only this explanation suits the nature of Quantum and Subquantum reality. I hope only that someone takes the time to examine and possibly replicate my findings.
