World's Largest Theft!

Late last night the as of yet unfinished Chrysler Building disappeared without a trace. Construction began on the skyscraper in the spring '22 and was slated to be finished by mid December of this year, but now it looks as though it may be starting over again from scratch.

Witnesses say that around seven o'clock p.m. last night they saw three people enter the build, thinking that these individuals were part of the construction crew staying over late it was not reported. The witnesses said that for about three hours they saw the same people working on the building. "I thought they were just plum crazy, what with the storm brewing and all," said Mr. Bentley who was working across the street at the time.

About ten o'clock the weather grew worse, breaking in to a full fledged lightning strom, but the supposed workers continued. Witnesses reported that at 10:47p.m. a bolt of lightning struck the building at which point it disappeared completely.

The Police have no leads on where the building might be or whether it was even taken or simply destroyed outright. No reports were received of any persons missing or injured near the former location of the building. Any one with any information leading to the discovery of the building or the theives is to contact the New York Police Department.
