You're all wrong; it's macho for a man to cook anything. It proves he's secure in his sexuality and is a sign of sensitivity. ::closedeyes

Also, making cheesecake is a good "couple" activity, partly because it's delicious, partly because there's multiple jobs to be worked on, and partly because there's a lot of downtime. ::wub

Sorry, what were we talking about? ::blush

Sorry...

ma·cho (mä'chō)

adj.

Characterized or motivated by machismo: “He was a mindless activist, a war lover, who found macho relish in danger and felt driven to prove manhood by confrontation” (Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.).

n., pl. -chos.

Machismo.

A person characterized by or exhibiting machismo.

ma·chis·mo (mä-chēz'mō)

n.

A strong or exaggerated sense of masculinity stressing attributes such as physical courage, virility, domination of women, and aggressiveness.

Hair on chest = Macho

Beating crap out of petty weakling = Macho

Walking with a manly strut = Macho

But cooking cheesecake with your girlfriend certainly doesn't = macho

Nothing wrong with it, sign of a healthy relationship...but Machismo is a stereotype of exaggerated "manly" characteristics.

On cooking, to quote Rodriguez, everyone eats. Not knowing how to cook is just as bad as not knowing how to fvck.
