No kidding. Some weird mojo's going on. I'm monitoring traffic passively. Someone's making the boards ALL CONSTIPATED!

Maybe it's a D.O.S. (denial of service) in progress.

I can't wave my wand to make this go away... wink

Actually, it's a little more official than that: The Directive's IT team found the board, as well as the access loopholes that the original board-maker made up. From my information, it seems that they finally noticed the trickle of CPU time this board keeps reserved. I've been calling in a few favours to move the board to another sector of the system, but for the moment, the board's been stuck in multiple places at once, which is hell for the linking system.

On the plus side, their Netrunners don't seem to be putting the board problem on high priority (not surprising, really - considering who posts here, I certainly wouldn't be in a rush to shut the board down if I were the Directive). It gives me and my friends a little time, thankfully.

The big problem now, really, is moving the board and resecuring it. Give us some time; we're trying our best here.

*checks out the traffic reports...*

Hmmm, so that's what those 000.000 prefixes are on their IPs. How blatently... obvious.

Anyways I've discovered a little glitch that's more easily fixed. Some posts that recently went 2 pages just before the last major goof-up became one page articles that falsely report two pages. By just simply making a post on said topic puts that post on the second page. or whichever page is the last page of the thread. It's a pretty basic code glitch I discovered. It's an aftermath of the latest flub the board had. And it's fixed without the need of the admin for a change.

Too bad the other problems here aren't as easily fixed by us. frown

Anyways, I'm setting up for the party tonight, so I'll post you guys later!

Somebody asked about me? I'd say who and what they asked but it sounds like the sort of thing you don't want to discuss in public.

Contact me by the back channel you used before or name a place and time within reason.
