Aberrant RPG - Quantum Construct

I've got a few questions about the power Quantum Construct.

1. Can you build one around yourself, so that you can benefit from its force field and movement, ala Dark Phoenix?

2. Why is the dice pool Manipulation + Quantum Construct? This seems especially incongruous when compared to the prerequesite power of Force Field, which is Stamina + Force Field. If the construct is basically a moving force field, it should have the same dice pool, right?

1) Er...um...There's nothing that would specifically rule it out...However, you would have to build it big enough to accommodate your size, and I'd have to say that any damage not soaked by it would be taken by you....

2) Welcome to the world of Murphy's Rules...

No. No more than every technique in Magnetism control should have the same attribute.

You have to look at what most people use it for, i.e. summoning demons. The energies involved are mobile and almost sentient (I think there is an extra somewhere that makes them sentient).

Manipulation isn't a bad choice. If not that attribute however, I'd put this into "Wits".

They're not sentient, at least not unless they've got a bizarre extra. They're strictly manifestations of the nova's will. And summoning demons is one way it could be played, but it only applies if the power is defined as wheedling with the gods for an enforcer, or something.

I maintain that Stamina is better for it, because successes on the roll are used primarily to define the number of constructs and their size. They also give them powers, though, which Wits does fit better.

Creating a forcefield would be stamina. Manipulating forces should be either Int or Wits.

Q-Construct is more manipulating than creating. Without the prerequist we wouldn't even know that a forcefield is involved.
