Slagheap
I was just wondering how everyone else uses this background (outlandish stories are VERY welcome ::bigsmile )We've used quite a few devices in the Trinity games I've been in. In the first game I played in the ST had a hold over device from an earlier game that an NPC had. It was a head band that blocked Telepaths (pretty powerful little bugger).I played a character in a space game with a modified freighter with an experimental gravity drive on it. And I once played a character that was himself a device, he was a semi sentient bio-android.-Slag
madcat82
Well, most of the cool stuff that I have is in adventure.Like the guy who rides around in a modified rocket train, who holds 8 hvy machinguns, 2 anti aircraft guns, a laboratory, space for 100 people, a dining room for 20 people, a small air-plane and a construction "yard".Did i mention that it can go underwater??? Pax's_Pimp
The oddest thing I have ever had and allowed was a Qin spacecraft in the hands of a teleporter; come to think of it the porter was none other than our very own Harlequin.

Slagheap
So, what is the highest number of dots worth the devices any one character has had?-Slag
notsoangrydave
i'm not sure what the dot value was, but in my first introduction to trinity (my friend ran a short-lived game - he discovered the game), i played a doc with some piloting skills and a scarab. i didn't ask for it, the st doled out some stuff pretty much, and the group needed a vk, a ship and a pilot, so i filled both roles and i got a scarab to fill the third.but in the third session we got blitzed by chromatics and my ship was heavily damaged. i don't think the game lasted much longer than that... Finbar
So far, the most I've seen is nine, but that a) I was new to the system so thought each device had to have its own background, and it was a ship (4), a VARG (3), and a small number of 1-dots (2)...FR
