At least there are hills here and there. I-70 through Illinois and Kansas however... snoozeville.

Ptesan-Wi
So far, the crew has gotten to deal with small-town Americana with enough nostalgic sweetness to kill a diabetic, humid heat ("just like home"), a torrential thunderstorm system that popped up out of nowhere with hail and 5" of rain and a 30-degree temperature drop, our wacky group of TT-gaming associates, our wacky group of LARP-gaming associates, Missouri's unfortunate tendancy to borrow placenames from everywhere from Ireland to Mexico, and my tendancy to fall asleep on short notice. As mid-Missouri is on a flash-flood watch for today, the plans to drag them off to Rock Bridge State Park today are pretty sure to be revamped for later in the week. We're in Soggyville, folks!
Doctor Nova Madigan
Just wait until tomorrow, when you will visit a psychiatric hospital museum, see one of the coolest places to LARP in northwest Missouri, and . . . uh. . . eat out.
Ptesan-Wi
Okey-doke. In roughly half an hour, we'll be on the road to St. Joseph to meet up with Flicker (with an ETA of 10:30 or 11 or so).
Doctor Nova Madigan
I totally like the way you called me when you departed, the way we'd discussed in chat.
Access
We thought about it about 10 minutes into the trip, and we left without your phone number. sowwy
Mithril
No worries. I managed to wake up in enough time to shower, dress, clean the apartment, etc.
Ptesan-Wi
The intrepid Louisianans are six hours into their homeward trip at this point, having left our house at 5 am Central this morning. Their visit was a hell of a fun time, and here's hoping that they have a good and safe drive!
Access
we're almost back to the lousiana border. we're about 7 miles from el dorado, arkansas which is 52 miles from where I use to go to school. we've probably got another 5 hours or do left in the drive. I feel bad. Perhaps it's for the best - TW said that I was making strange inhuman noises when she tried to get me up. Who knows what horror might have greeted you if you had encountered the sleeping, shambling Carver.
