Ashnod
I just saw X3. Better than X1, not as good as X2. I liked it, though you might not believe me if you read my thoughts on it. Spoiler warning if you follow the link. And yeah, I'm tough to please. But I did enjoy it.
Long
It was too short. Perhaps that has to do with the 35 minutes they cut out at the last minute. was still a good movie though.
Juri 'Salamander' McClendon
They cut 35 minutes out??????*RAGE*At 1 hour and 40 minutes it's about 30 minutes shorter than X2. Yes, it needed those 35 minutes. Please please please on DVD restore that footage

Singularity
Good acting, meh story, and a disappointing aggregate.
Long
the only reason I knew about the 35 minute edit was our theater manager mentioned that when I bought my ticket run-time was 2 hours and 20 minutes, not the hour and 45 min we got
Singularity
I knew the commercials and previews were a little long, but that's outrageous.
Typhoon
The only thing that redeemed it was the scene after the credits.
Long
I dunno the "peeling and healing" scene was decent
Sakurako Hino
Since I am usually the aberration in the commonality, I have to say I enjoyed the film. Although there were many let-downs for all the highlights. No Gambit makes me a sad panda. And yes, Typhoon, Gambit is still the shizz.

That said, I'm pretty sure that scene could have been done another way without having the camera on a shirtless Logan for several minutes. (I'm sure the fanboys and girls of the board will disagree with me there.) Quote:Originally posted by Fuusen:No Gambit makes me a sad panda. No. for the same reason there wasn't any room for (insert your favorite Marvel sellout X-character here). Colossus is one of my favorite X-characters, He has a well developed past, very little of which is mysterious or gritty, he is something of a pacifist sometimes, and he sells the occasional book, but, I would rather he had not been in X3 at all than have what charactrer growth we saw from X2 to the end of X3. So just be happy that Gambit wasn't bastardized and move along.
Ashnod
I thumbed through the novelization today, and during that scene, Logan was supposed to be little more than a walking adamantium skeleton held together by just a bit of sinew and muscle, little more, something that looked completely and utterly monstrous. Wish they would have done that, because he seemed to be not only healing it damn fast but highly retarding the effects of it as well.
Hutch
I'm sorry but you just can't have an Unpretty Hugh Jackman. The universe simply won't allow it.
