Cade
It's been over a decade since I had to do this. I had to put my dog to sleep this morning. After about a week of of putting it off and close to a thousand dollars in medication I was told there was little else that could be done. My Dalmatian has been a good dog, and he had no other problems associated with his breed. I'm going to miss him. My dad never really showed that he liked him, but deep down I knew he did. My mom hasn't stopped crying. He's been a good dog and had a good full life. In the end I guess that's the most any of us could hope for. I'll never forget him. kestrel404
My condolences. My parent's boxer (which they got just before I went to college) died just a few months ago, so I understand how you feel.
z-Carver
My condolences as well - I know what it's like to lose a beloved animal friend.
Hugin
I wept like a baby after we had to put Bubba down. We'd had him for about 10 years and he was in so much pain.
David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Put ours down three months ago. For some reason Queen's song "Who wants to live forever" kept playing in my mind. My wife cried. My kids asked if he could be replaced with a hamster and a goldfish.
