Gigaflop

Gigaflop is a hacker who created the subnet site known as the Indigo Network. None of the other Indigos have met him in the real world, and the only other Indigo who seems to know anything about him is Dreamtime. Gigaflop created the Indigo Network, stating that he wanted to provide a place for Indigos to be able to be themselves without fear.

Dreamtime

If every one of the users of the Indigo have one thing in common its Gigaflop and Dreamtime. Dreamtime is able to enter into the dreams of others. Indigos remember having an odd dream about a young girl asking questions about their lives, the next day is when they are first contacted by Gigaflop about the Indigo Network. Despite her role in recruiting Indigos to the network Dreamtime doesn't have a presence on the forums there. Popular theory is that Dreamtime is only capable of interacting through people's dreams or that she takes up a different handle on the Network for some reason.

Apex

A.k.a.: Statesman, Captain Manhattan, Superstar, Yankee, Exemplar, Luminary, Defender, Patriot, and numerous others.

Apex is the world's first genuine superhero and almost certainly the first of the Indigo Children to go public intentionally and stay in the public eye. In August of 2009 Apex made his first appearance (or so he claims) stopping a robbery in progress at the Manhattan First Bank. He appeared sporadically after that and countless civilians have come forward claiming that Apex rescued them from muggings or gangs or accidents.

Little is known about the man behind the mask but less than a year later his powers are well demonstrated and documented. Superhuman resiliency and strength, incredible reflexes, and the ability to leap or fly are all his. Regardless of whether he is capable of true flight or only able to leap he is capable of covering ground incredibly quickly and has yet to be tracked back to any kind of safe house or headquarters.

If Apex has a handle on the Indigo Network he doesn't admit to it, in fact if he is part of the network he does his best to distance himself as no users have yet to come forward claiming to be him. Among the Indigos the opinion on Apex is split with the majority being concerned that his antics, however well intentioned, will cause awareness of the Indigos and bring the government and private sectors down on them seeking to study and use them and their powers.

I have to agree with FlyBoy, Apex is a danger to us all. If somebody ever catches him or figures out who he is they'll be able to link him back to the Event. And if they do that it'll only be a matter of time before they start coming after other kids from those nine-ish months thereafter. It's a slippery slope and ... or maybe its like an avalanche, it just takes one thing to start and then it all comes down.

Either way if he's reading this I hope he thinks about cutting the bullshit.

Jack Archer is among the most influenetial real estate tycoons in the Unitied States. He wasn't always such, growing up in San Francisco in a lower Middle-class family. he worked hard, putting himself through school before graduating with honors from UCLA with a degree in Buisness Management. He hired on with a prominent Real Estate broker, and worked his way up the corporate ladder, until he became CEO of the company. He would move to the Company's headquarters in New York City. There he met a yonug Cheiron Danai Centrella, a lawyer working for the District Attourney's office.

Following a whirlwind romance, the two were married, and a year later they welcomed their only daughter Melissa into the world.

Cheiron's death in an accident seems to have sapped all joy from the life of Jackson, though Melissa's decision to pursue a carreer on stage while she attends college has made him happy in a small way.

He is extremely protective of Melissa, in part because that's how he was raised to believe he should be, and because he sees her as the last peice of her mother in this world. He furnishes her with everything she could want or need, not so much to buy her love, but to keep safe. He still treats her like a little girl most of the time, despite her age.

RP notes: He's a cool customer most of the time, and a very shrewd businessman. His one weakness generally seems to be his daughter.

Daniel Blake

Daniel Blake is Velocity’s older brother. Since their parents practically abandoned them at an early age Daniel had to take a lot of responsibility long before he was old enough to actually take care of himself.

When his father got in jail things got even worse and their mother started to drown herself in alcohol. There were many reasons for Daniel to take a wrong turn and end up like his father, a petty criminal but Daniel managed to stay out of trouble and finance his own studies.

With the help of his fiance he soon moved to his own apartment and practically cut any contact to his family, except for his sister. Valerie is the only member of his family he really takes care of. Unfortunately he couldn’t keep tabs on her and manage his own life at the same time. He simply didn’t have the time nor the financial power to keep her safe. When she dropped out of school he was so mad at her he didn’t talk to her for almost half a year.

Still no matter what kind of trouble his sister manages to steer into, he is always there to help her and pull her out of the gutter. He just hopes that one day she won’t need his help anymore...
