World of Darkness: Balance of Power - [Werewolf] Trespass

The pack that controlled this territory was dead. The invading werewolves knew this, intellectually. But there was still that primal drive inside of them that warned them to be cautious; an instinctive insistence that said they were putting themselves in danger from the rightful owners. For among the Uratha, the right to hold territory was directly proportional to the might of the ones holding it. And the Pure could be mighty enemies indeed.

The first marker was found well away from the Plaza, near the intersection of Van Brunt and Highway 71. It was carved into one of the pylons on the bridge that allowed Highway 71 to span Van Brunt. The symbol was one of leaping, grinning fangs, done with a sinister twist to them. It looked like attempts had been made to patch it, but MoDot's efforts had been undone.

Passing deeper into the territory only yielded more clues that they were where they didn't belong. However, as Duke had said, he didn't know where the locus was, only the boundaries. If they wanted to look for clues spirit-side, that was the first step.

I have named no names, so if your WW went along, it'll be up to you to psot his presence there. Feel free to post any questions or needed clarifications - it was bloody late when I did this.

Kara looked around nervously. This was, or had been until very recently, Pure territory. And if they could disappear overnight, there was nothing saying that others could not also arrive overnight to pick up their fallen banner. For all she knew, they could be there, lurking in the Hisil, waiting with their all-too willing spirit allies for this small Forsaken band to walk into a trap.

"Alright," she said in hushed tones to her fellows. "Is someone here able to take a peek across the gauntlet, or are we going to need to do this the hard way?"

Rubbing his neck Jason stepped forward in response to the question. "I may be able to be of some assistance in that regard."

Stepping to the head of the makeshift pack Jason breathed deeply, his eyes closed. As he exhaled he opened them. The left remained normal while the right had turned a dark indigo. Jason surveyed the area, his vision piercing the veil between worlds.

Jake kept to the edge of the group. No more comfortable than the others to be in enemy territory it was at least a feeling that he had gotten used to during his stint in the military. Whilst the others checked out the Hisil he kept his attention on the city around them.
