Forge
"> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> The earthquake rolled across the land, sending people into a panic. That panic however, was not spreading in Angeles Vall, where a woman was chained up, involuntarily screaming and sobbing as her captor struck her across her already brutalized face. She had been beautiful at one time, but through the dried blood and swollen features, all that could be seen was the defiant stare of her icy gaze that promised a world of torment if the shackles that held her to the wall decided at that moment to fail. Her dress hung in tatters around her, once a beautiful blue gown fit for royalty, now so filthy, mold had begun to take a foothold."You cry, yet none hear my little Bluebird." The captor's voice so deep that it seemed to vibrate the very air of the room.He waited for a response, but even if she desired to speak, her broken jaw and thirst-swollen tongue probably wouldn't let her.She shifted her gaze around the room for the ten-thousandth time, looking for anything remotely useful, but the bare stone walls and small wooden table held nothing for her. She dreaded the feel of that table, its splintery wood pressed into her face and her dress draped over her head. She turned back towards the giant of a man that towered over her and gathering what little moisture she could from her mouth, spat at him. She did little but speckle his shoes with some blood, but the gesture of willful defiance did its job as his confident smile turned into a sneer and he kicked her in the abdomen."Very well."He turned and left, leaving the woman to fold in on herself and cry, as she let herself give into despair for just a moment. No one sees the color of your eyesNo one sees your smileNo one knows the secrets that you hideNo one sees you cry...
