I loved playing Duke Nukem and was always hoping to see Forever finally stop being vaporware. I know that people want their art to be great, but the development was just stupid. The franchise is basically like having the ability to print money. They should have just released each version and used the money from it to make the next one better.

Hehe, I went to E3 in '98 when it was held in Atlanta that year. Duke Nukem was still fresh talk. Had my picture taken with some dude who was at the 3D Realms booth dressed up like Nukem.

The day we left the convention, they announce an engine switch (to Quake or Unreal at the time, dont remember which now). Then it went poof. Then it became a joke.
