[Krul]

"No one actively fights IRSA, John, that would be like throwing stones inside a house of glass, or fighting someone who knows what your going to do before you do it. Nevertheless, your right, we get along differently depending on which order we're dealing with."

"Relations are generally good between us and the Legion, though when Upeo wa Macho was the order we had the best relations with. We often work closely with Ogrotek, but our different vision and structure causes occasional clashes, and we have a bit of mutual frustration when working with Æsculapians, due to differing structures of our two orders. The Ministry and IRSA are cautious, but for the most part friendly, and Norca goes it's own way, like a distant brother with different interests. As for Trinity, we work well with them, but sometimes our vision and theirs clash."

[Special Agent Gary Samson]

"Sounds like family to me. A bunch of bullshit but when push comes to shove, well, they are family, of course you stick up for them." She shrugged and looked back at the crystal, plumbing the depths of the object with his sight. "So where were we?"

[Krul]

"Discussing your strengths and vision, as well as the potential of Clairsentience" She paused a moment. "What do you want to do with yourself John? I've been informed that the Old Man does have an offer for you, but taking it is up to you."

[Special Agent Gary Samson]

John sighed, a touch of frustration tinged the sound. "Beats me. I was a recon specialist before. Do you know what that means?" She shook her head and motioned for him to continue. "Well basically I was a scout, part of a squad that deployed forward and looked for the enemy, or looked for intelligence that would help us to locate the enemy or their bases. Tex Mex rebels. They called themselves the Rangers. Anyway that's what I did, I snuck around and looked for things, or I tracked people or groups. I'm not sure how ISRA could use those skills, I'm expecting you to tell me, or give me options, or maybe I'm expecting you to give me some cryptic reply and I'll have to figure it out for myself."

John shook his head, "I can already tell, I mean I've already done it, I can project my senses away from my body. I swear my sense of direction is better now too. I think if I were on earth I could tell north just by stopping for a second to think about it. Maybe I can combine ability with skill and help ISRA find new talent. I guess if I had the choice though, I think I would want to try and look out to the stars. You know? I want to see new planets, not just our old colonies but new planets." He nodded, to himself as much to her, "Yeah, if I had the choice I would want to explore, but I doubt a new recruit like me would get to pull duty on the jump ships."

[Krul]

She laughed at his words, then went to one side of the room, pulling out a sheet of paper, and on it was five names under the IRSA logo, and request for them to be assigned to the Jumpship Xiao Dao, which was heading out to the stars in the next few months. "From my understanding, this is the list that the Old Man has gotten accepted for the Jumpship, if they are interested"

[Special Agent Gary Samson]

John looked at the list for a moment before looking up. "You're the pilot?" She nodded and he shook his head, "Do our modes overlap then? Nevermind that, how long? I still have family in the FSA, I'd like to try and get the out of there and ... How long? How long would we be gone?"

[Krul]

"My main mode is Psychnavigation John, I supect you'll do better then me in your best mode, if not yet, then soon." She responded to his question. "The ship's mission is a five year one, but we'll be returning to earth every few months. It doesn't leave for about two to three months, you have plenty of time to move your family first."

[Special Agent Gary Samson]

John nodded. "OK, I'm in. I'd like my pay to go to my mother and sister so that they can move to the moon when it becomes possible. I'll just take what I need to maintain basic accommodations." He stands up and walks around the room. After a minute he turns to Erin, "So are our training sessions to continue on board the ship?"

[Krul]

"Oh, training never ends John, we're always learning, even Herzog says that he has more to learn. But yes, we can insure that sessions continue on the ship." She reached out to take his hands a moment. "I envy you a bit John, I'm going to be more or less confined to the ship, your going to get to stretch your wings."

[Special Agent Gary Samson]

John laughed lightly, "Piloting a ship capable of traversing light years in the blink of an eye; hard to believe you envy me. Still you are a seer, are you ever truly confined by mere physical location?"

[Krul]

"No, but there is still a difference between experiencing something and watching it, John." She smiled and winked even as she said it. "You'll be in the position to make a difference, I just am the one who gets you there. In any case, let's continue." And she continued to teach John a bit more about how he was changed.

When time came to depart, the IRSA telepath put a memory block in John's mind, so that he couldn't tell anyone, even should they read his mind, the true location of Huruf al-Hayy.
